Interestingly i read an article yesterday about small growers in Jamaica yesterday.

Most that have the sought after knowledge for that bomb Jamaican buds can't even afford the high pricing of the License to Cultivate. Which in turn is causing the shortages there now.

Its sad.

Reading through these pages the author was urging everyone we need to get this off of drug lists and into everyone's backyards before the government makes it like tobacco where only They can grow.

Look at the states who profited off of prohibition now making hand over fist in coin to fill their coffers with "legal" weed. Cannabis should be as legal to grow as basil, anything less is tyranny and unjustifiable under the Constitution but I wont go on with my rant today.

They are the biggest crooks, they keep us misinformed and law locked because it keeps them rich and prosperous. If the hard workers thrived they wouldn't be so rich anymore.

So some of these seeds I had came from an oz of dispensary purple punch I know for fact . On sale 100 bucks.

Looked GREAT I jumped on it.

It was THE WORST WEED IVE EVER SMOKED! I choked on it, my throat burned, it was HARSH. Ended up tossing most of it but found some seeds in it.

I never went back there.

So open up more testing centers for product if the demand is there. If people know whats going in their herb and how to grow it properly then you wont have mold. Antratoxin? Never heard of it. Sounds not too cool.
Either way. Life has risks. I know smoking herb has a risk just as opening up my door and stepping out into the day does.

Why does government have to be involved with anything though? The free market can dictate it all.
I should be able to set up shop and sell my herb like a lemonade stand (yeah test it and check ID of course). I mean why would you not check IDs.......Anyway.

It is a tricky situation. Homesteader you make good points. Unfortunately there are valid reasons for government oversight.

Look at what happened with the food industry in the late 19th and early 20th, before the best president started the fda. People got sick and died all the time from tainted food put out by private companies.

Shoot, you even just look at what happened in the 90s and 2000s in pharmaceuticals. Fad diet pills causing heart conditions, doctors handing out oxycontin like candy. Clearly there was a problem there with the unregulated free market.

I'm about as libertarian as they come. But it's short sighted to say the government does absolutely nothing for people.

Best president? Yikes . Didn't he segregate the new deal, steal all citizens gold in a heist, nominate a kkk member to the SCOTUS and redline the nations cities into racist color coded maps that put black neighborhoods in no deal zones for banks which ended up outlining many of the inner cities we see today? I think I'll end it right there before I get myself in trouble if I haven't already.
