I think I will do that but w/ three 600's. I can get another 600 and that would put me @ 1800w for flower and I have a 10,000 btu window unit I can use.

im thinking I could use the air cooled hoods and cool tubes I have and use my 6" fan to cool them and then use my other fan and filter to cool and maintain air exchange fr the girls. I can have my my intake in front of the a/c for both veg and flower area to keep temps in check.

if I do this I can keep the door to that room open to prevent any heat buildup.

I don't need a 5x10 but I think no more than 4x8 for the 3 6's w/8' ceiling height.

Boo what other brand would you go with besides LG ? :) I have a distinct hatred for LG at the moment due to my nice new less than 6 month old 55" LG tv having vertical columns not working already.

Mitsu, futjitsu, ...other?

I did just find out my electrician probably has all the tools neccessary and can get freon most likely from his dad since he does a little hvac work at his job. Maybe if we watch a few vids we can manage to figure out how to make connections etc...

it's relatively simple and they do offer a sealed homeowner unit but from talking to you, you'd be happier outsourceing it...dunno who to recommend but look for a killer warranty...5 years is common...don't spend the money on big SEER numbers, sure it saves but it won't pay you back...I did the math on my first one

I'll keep researching the installation. I have roughly a month before i can do anything anyways. Just trying to get prepped.

That fujitsu had a really nice remote thermostat with scheduling and all kinds of fancy stuff. But BIG$$$

boo I take it you need the extra btu's cause your venting out of the room? Ive ran the stadium with 3k with nothing more than a window shaker and kept temps at 75 in the middle of summer. then again I didnt vent out of the room.

welcome and what was the secret to pulling off cooling 3k w/a window unit? did you cool the lights directly then exhaust into the room or maybe 20' ceilings.

here are some pics to better show you. was an old old ac unit. room was 12x10 with 7 foot ceiling. 3k hanging vert on a light mover. stadium was on castors to roll out to get into to feed and work.

cool boo. thanks for the info was just wondering. you know me ive ran everything from cfls in a closet to 18k shows and ive always tried to use a sealed environment. everytime I tried venting lights out temps was an issue. I try to learn from greenhouses with multi lights and just cool the room.

An update on what going on by me. First is the Pre98-BK.

Don't know why but it sure seems like it's slow growing in veg. It's 1/2 the size of clones that I received at the same time. Like this LA #7

damn drift, idk, she's a sort of slow vegger I guess, never really seemed like it lagged that far behind though. hopefully she'll kick into gear soon. you'd absolutely love the dmt haha, that stuff takes 6 months to get to flowering size! excellent meds though for all the time it takes

My bubba is always slower than the rest. I know she likes to be transplanted as soon as the roots hit walls or bottom or else she stops growing.

Not sure if its the same cut but i was gifted from someone locally a few years ago and it certainly looks the same as everyone else's pre98. I only run her for an xmas harvest.

I agree don. I only ran her in bubbler buckets as otherwise she was to slow for my taste. im gonna get her back one day. Ive been itching to pop some acapulco gold beans i have and dust her.
