growing atuos outdoors in the northeast

i have some autos budding up outdoors and i keep hearing that i should watch them closely for mold. what should i be looking for?

NE where? If it's rainy and overcast a lot mold may be an issue. If it's hot and dry summertime weather Mold won't be a problem.
Just keep your buds dry. If it rains cover your plants. You are looking for white or gray powdery stuff growing on your leaves. Powdery mildew.

Make sure and stop feeding high nitrogen fertilizer. like 12 6 6. Switch to high middle and last number on the label. I flower with 5 15 5 and bud rot will not be an issue if you keep them dry. Read up on removing all growth bellow the canopy. You want to remove most if not everything from the ground up 1/4 of the plant. Thin them out good so there is good air flow in around the plant. If it's flowering and done it's stretch it's done growing and putting everything into flowers. Take off all suckers that will only produce popcorn.
