I've gotten better at the Autos. I liked the terps on the Sticky Orange (for tincture) & the mellow yellowness lol of the White Widow so much, I had to try them again.
They are like instant rice & instant mashed taters tho, to me!! Haha.
But, the little midgets are fun even tho bad bugs are attracted to them here! Big time!

My girls are doing good. They didn't seem to mind the 109+ temps but it kicked my arse. Doing ok now that it's under 100! We've had rain a few times..a whooping 3/8" once LoL The other X's we got close to .25 worth haha
But the ladies loved every drop! :)
And I'm in love
It's been a very long week!
Our newest great grand baby is a week old today She had heart surgery at 3days old! The little beauty is healing so fast they are talking about releasing her to go home at the end of this week! Awesome & very thankful
I'll upload more pics of my canna babies tomorrow! Can't wait to catch up with all your beauts

I'm trying all of the seeds sellers I can lol. (Since the big scare of no seeds for sale over state lines come Nov 12). But I have spent more at Sensi seeds, so far. Bought my 1st seeds Dec 1, 2025. My Purple Haze this year is from HomeGrown Cannabis.
I did a search on what would grow in my arid area. . . I'm not sure if any of the seeds for sale are tested for outdoor grows, much less our areas. It's up to us to figure it out, I guess.
I've yet to experience the monsoons of '26 but... The year is still young. Lol

I made the mistake of not documenting how started seeds, and for some reason, I couldn't get any of my last batch to pop. so, I couldn't get guarantee. I just really need someone who knows what will thrive in high desert. I grow mostly sativa/hybrid with a couple indicas.

Yes, totally understand! I didn't know we needed documentation for seed failure either. But if I got to many failures from 1 company I'll just not order from them again. No biggie. Costly learning experience, tho.

When I first searched seeds for high desert I found some for $85 each! Okay...I'm not paying that! Especially since I've not grown very long.
I like all the fancy yummy sounding names but I'll be happy going back to OG regulars next year. I like Todd McCormick's. They all have their own drama stories & that's fine. "Such is life" as my gma would say, lol

I dry until it is down into the mid 60s percent humidity range, then cure in Grove bags! You don’t want to jar it up to wet! You will be risking mold if you do that!

I'm interested in these Grove bags! They would take up less room also, right? You cute & then leave the bud in there permanently? @Oldchucky

I actually am liking this watermelon martini Im growing 28%. that's what most of these are. like I think it was gray said sounded like a dinner menu. have Hindu Kush, berry froyo and watermelon martini. they are the larger plants. I had asked the owner of a seed shop in PHX area what was good sativa/ hybrid and this was what he hooked me up with. now just need to learn how to turn one for seeds. have another Hindu Kush that just popped, and two tropical cookie purple (TCP), that just dropped in soil. that will put me at my legal limit here

Yeah, I went with them! I’ve got three and four year-old weed in some of them that is still in decent shape! 1 pound bags! But it is still three or four year-old weed! Lol! It doesn’t keep forever! Jars don’t hold enough! And buckets would work unless you’re trying to keep 10 different strains separate! Then that is a lot of buckets! So the bags seemed like the lesser of the three evils! But if you put stuff in there long-term and don’t heat seal, then you still have to monitor it humidity wise! It slowly, but surely dries out even in the bags! Sorry it took so long to get back to you,Poozie! Keep up the good work!

Lovely plants made me smile big! Such eye candy! I'm so excited for you and please don't stop sharing your pics!! I know you've grown a few years but is this the 1st yr growing outdoors in AZ? Your season might be longer than mine These 107-109 temps are kicking my butt! I've still got a few autos I'm popping only because I was sent some freebies. LoL. I like the choices you picked! I seriously want to smoke some Hindu anything, mainly cos I can't remember if I ever have hahaha

I'm gonna have to splurge and get some!! I've only got minimal room I can keep the temps controlled enough, for storage. 3 buckets was my limit in one separate area. So I'm happy to get your response TY
I'm trying to 'keep up the work' but these temps are draining! Sheesha mighty.

Well we reached 111 degrees today! It's 110 rn I'm surprised the plants are doing so good!! I water good for over night, CK them every morning by 7am. About noonish the tops are a tiny bit limp. Prob should CK again at 11 am. I'm dreading going outside these days! But I do it for the girls Here's the 2 Purple Haze.
Should I be defoliating the one in the raised bed already?
