hahaha! yeah that F’er took of faster than the shed heats up in the afternoon! Thanks Bear, you and Chucky and TGR gave me the confidence that I could pull it off! Then @TheGoldenRoad went and moved back in the house! Traitor!! Lol
The buffer is somewhat buffering! Lol I set up the tent so the intake air comes straight from outside and I'm running positive pressure to keep the hotter air trapped in the shed from getting into the tent. So far so good. There's still some radiant heating happening but I'm going to insulate the roof soon and hopefully cut down on that.hahaha! yeah that F’er took of faster than the shed heats up in the afternoon!(love you TGR )
Dude im glad you could get it together! The inspiration is just, that! You are the doer!: )
i really like the tent in the shed! you have no idea how many times I’ve thought about doing this in my shed! even for just a drying space! how are you liking the buffer it provides?
EDIT to add: @Oldchucky is going to call me sappy but that dude has helped me just as much as anyone else here or more! Hes good at “talking me off the ledge” hahahah!
It was mentioned above by someone (sorry i forgot your name and im not scrolling) that a shade cloth would work! Dude im 100% onboard with this idea! Even just a cheap easy up type thing : )The buffer is somewhat buffering! So right now it's in full sun with the lights off. It's 72° outside, 84° in the shed and 77° in the tent. The display on the right is the intake air and you see the fan is on 7 while the exhaust is 0. Damn tent is blown up like a balloon!

Nah they all just moved over here to California up by where i live!I’m way east, but I heard everything gets stolen . I knew guys who would watch guys suiting up to go scuba diving, soon as they were under water they’d break into their cars. Good people. I’m sure they are all dead by now.
And there are a lot of membranes and paints designed to mitigate heat transfer! But they probably won’t be cheap! It was mentioned above by someone (sorry i forgot your name and im not scrolling) that a shade cloth would work! Dude im 100% onboard with this idea! Did commercial roofing when I lived in Florida, hot tar and asphalt shingles. We were doing a place in Cape Canaveral once. It was hot . Lifted up a box of nails , a cockroache ran out. Started running in circles and was dead in no time . I’m tougher than a cockroach. When we had to re-roof a 25 x 25 flat roof porch here, I told the wife I wanted to use white rollout roofing! She said no I want black! I want black! I said OK! Yes, dear! The next day we were out rolling out white!it gets hot here!
I miss my shed very much.I put a small space heater in the shed to guard against low ambient temperatures. I can't believe it's almost memorial day!
I think the universe is trying to tell me something but I can't figure out what lol

I miss it too! That shed had a vibe!I miss my shed very much.
Yeah I've never grown with positive pressure in a tent before, I thought that was for breeders looking to keep pollen of of certain areas. The idea to do intake air directly from outside didn't even occur to me until halfway through building it.I really dig the set up. That envelope of air you left between the tent and the shed will come in handy for sure. Great design.
Things are going to be great in the shed!!! My specialty in my day job and my growing is making the impossible happen! If things go south with the shed, can you grow them outside? Or is that off the table?
