I mistook the damage for light burn at first because It started on the middle plant. I turned it down twice and waited for improvement until the growth that I thought was burnt grew out more and the "light burn" had spread to the other plants. Then it occurred me to take a pic and ask google.

That first few seconds that it sinks in is tough because I thought it was a death sentence. I gave the fucking bugs a two week head start. Then it took 4 days to get the predator mites. 💩
I just ordered more captain jacks dead bug because i see one of mine looking like light burn! Raised the light this morning, and will spray the F out everything in the shed tomorrow after brew arrives! 💣💥🛀

The leaves also get an almost fabric like texture before they start to taco.

I'll take some more pictures of the destruction tonight. Hopefully I see some predator mites mixed in. The canopy will probably get a large cutback to help the new guys with a smaller population idk yet

I’ll have to go check for that fabric appearance. I didnt notice it on the plant that thats taco’ing, also some of the new growth on the others is looking a little like they are getting too much light. But again, from your experience im using that as a calling to treat! : ) I go in and out of my shed a few times a day and thats right through the outdoor garden to get there!😆✌️

Back to square one. The predator mites are still alive but the plants are toast. I was too heartbroken to take pictures of the massacre, it felt unnecessarily macabre at the time. You can use your imagination 😜

I'm left with @PlumberSoCal2 solo cup holiday fun thread! My menorah project is the only thing left standing. Canna cheese 1:1 auto seeds are also being germinated. 💚

Awww, so sorry that happened. This is one of the things that freak me out about indoor grows. Sure you have all the power, but you also pay the price when things go south. Your little one looks so cute. LOL

I have at least learned what broad mite damage looks like first hand so I will be better prepared going forward. Not many death sentence problems if you catch them early enough but I dropped the ball on this one.

You prompted me to take a little more action/ look closer at my plants : ) thank you! 🙏

saved me! seriously.

you good on beans?

The last few weeks have been a breeze environmental wise but the weather here in NYC has cooperated aside from a couple of really windy storms. Everything basically cycles as it should and I change the rez every 4 days. Some days I'm so lazy I don't even peek in on them anymore. Once they get a little bigger the runoff will need to be done every day and I will get my shit together lol 💚

Got one perfect plant that looks like all the other canna cheese I've grown, and one total looser lol. Got the silver nitrate and STS ready to go and they should start popping flowers soon. I'll flip the big nice one to male and let it pollinate both.
