Brutha you are 1 of the more knowledgeable people I know when it comes to soil science and such. It's clear you have been farming a good part of your life. Lets all just keep an open mind and listen to others input even if it goes against what we think we already know. 5lbs gypsum to 30 gallons soil mix is the upper limit but only due to the sulfur taste of smoke, absolutely zero signs of sulfur toxicity with the plant itself. At 4 lbs no taste in the smoke but 3lbs (6 cups) would be best IMO.

When one realizes that certain highly influential and popular individuals are teaching hogwash or at least diluted hogwash, its not close minded in my opinion to reject it, and actually I believe it should be ones moral obligation to call them out on such nonsense regardless of the backlash that brings from the lemmings who are too close minded to find the truth.
I would stick with the liquid cal mag, I start feeding epsom / gypsum about 2 weeks before flower (1tbs each per gallon of water) and it’s also amended into my soil, you’ll have quicker uptake with the liquid I believe which is what you want if you’re already observing a defI want to know about Gypsum, I have a little calcium deficiency showing up and up to now have been using Cal MAg for the fix. Even in my organic pots I still rely on bottled Cal mAg. I'd love to give this Gypsum a try. I'm knee deep into flower though..so little apprehensive about using it. Go for it?
