Amazing best drying method.only thing i would buy a bigger fridge i think mine is 12 bottles 3 stories
Sounds interesting really. Talking about drying normally makes you think of rather a warm place, but I guess it works if it works!

Ideal ia 60% 60f that is cold.even colder would save more therps
That's what they're telling me, If I didn't have this unit I'd be drying in the garage where the temps fluctuate between 64-75. Not to bad of a scenario, vs the usual 78 degrees during the summer when I dry indoors. I believe the dehumidifier is used for the thermal electric wine coolers, mines is a compressor. The compressor types really suck out the humidity. So I have to use this method (probably not the best) with the Inkbird to regulate the humidity in the cooler that's a compressor type.

I believe it. I was following the thread and didn't realize I had the compressor unit till days later.. šŸ˜‚ So this method is more of a Lotus Dry kind of thing. I just open the door of my cooler and it fills the room with dank. I have my flower in there (in terp bags) and you can still get that dankness coming out the fridge. (wondering if I dropped a nug in there now that I think about it)

All good man, not saying yours or mine is better, they're both wine coolers.

Why would humidity levels be controlled in a wine cooler chilled environment?
Humidity control is essential in a wine cellar. While it does keep wine cool, it isn't necessarily a refrigerator. Frideges cool by removing moisture basically. Maintaining adequate humidity keeps corks from drying out and the wine from prematurely oxidizing or microbial contamination, mainly acetobacter. It also maintains a more stable temperature along the surface of the bottle and the wine inside.
Humidity is usually preset and the temp range is pretty limited. I think the temp relative to the humidity might slow down drying but maybe not necessarily to a desired end. Throw in lack of airflow and it seems like a good recipe for furry buds. Especially in a confined space.
I could be wrong.....
