Holyshit are there tons of led bulbs at lowes whoa!!!! Are these suitable at 3000k? Or am i way off base?

Hey Lorax. Seedlings look healthy and definitely got narrow leaves huh.

I only use t-5 ho fluorescents but you can get daylight twisty bulbs. 6500k. That is good for compact veg. Warm household cfl's are not really the right spectrum.

And real daylight is closer to 4000k. So in that 4 to 6500 range is what I believe the cfl growers are using. And a lot of them usually. The plants will look uncomfortable and even droop under too much. Sativa hybrids like I grow take an awful lot of lumens in my rooms.

In my 3x3 I have 10 2 ft. tubes. Over 3 plants vegging at different stages and until recently a tray of seedlings at about 10 inches from the reflector. I use a seperate tent now to increase Grow space. And there are 5 of those t-5 tubes in a 2' x 3'x 3' high propogate tent. It's pretty bright.

I never looked into wattage/lumens of the twisty bulbs though. Sorry.

Mimedgrower thankyou man. I wanna be able to utilize that 5 headed dragon type lamp so figured cfl or led's that screw in like normal bulbs would be sufficent! I appreciate your help! Sincerely!

i may take you up on some good beer bro. i need to get healthy first tho. hah.

any hefeweizens come through? that is my all time fav, use to brew some good hefe i have in the past.

There's hefe's everywhere up here chris, no other state can hold a candle to vermont craft brew beers but ive not tried the countries best im sure so idk but we gotta be top 3 anyways! I would help ya in a heartbeat!

I gotta see who uses FFOF here with regularity and find a decent recipe .....maybe just chunky perlite? Ill figure it out, i hate smartasses at my age lol!

I thought you were trying to make it into Super soil.

I use it from seed/clone to harvest. I always add 20% chunky large perlite. And I transplant up through veg so I only use well water for the first 6-8 weeks. Then I feed Pure Blend Pro grow in flower as needed.

I dont quite follow that nomenclature? If you have fungus gnats thats a hell of an easy way to keep em at bay, ive never done it though!

I just noticed in the what are you smoking thread the tags are Puff,Puff, Give. Just call it show and tell! Look what i got! Want some? Haha too bad! Silly little boys!
