The runt, in flower bout a week. The hst I have done on the top brances seems to be workin out just fine. Much faster and easier than tryin to get everything tied down. Actually the “broken” branches have shown no adverse reaction. My delimma is that she is sittin under 2 mars300 from 2017. My other girl a month in flower is under 2 mars600. Not fancy lights the “economy” models. Time to consider upgrades. The plan would be better lights for flower, more IR and UV, maybe a veg/flower switch and built in timer. Since I have mentioned
#marshydro a bunch of times maybe something from their newer stuff. Let the suggestions flow like money from a beginner growers bank account.

My plan is to only run one plant at a time, the two mars600 I have seem to do ok I don’t really need bells and whistles. I read that they lack the IR/UV for better flowering. No responce from mars yet they are probly hidin from the corona thing. I could probly just supplement the 600s if I can figure out what to use.

Hi Lilolme, sorry for my late, check your PM.

I'd like to recommend the SP250 light, it has IR and UV light, total of 738 diodes, the actual power is 250w, the coverage is 2'x4' at bloom and 3'x5' at veg.

Here is the customer SP250 feedback for your reference.

Ok so this happened, got 2 of these on the way they will go over the big girl and the 600s will go over the runt. The 300s that are over the runt will be for my regular garden seed starting and seedlings.

Cancelled the ts1000 order and went with 2 sp150 after readin more reviews. She is gulpin down water bout a gallon a day which is helpin me fine tune the nute/ph relationship by allowin me to dilute the mix and monitor the ph, which has been dropping daily, nothin extreme but enough to indicate the ppm is too high which is no surprise to me. I think instead of shootin for big ppm numbers I am gonna seek out the balance between ppm and ph therefore lettin the plant dictate the nute strength. All my tie downs are now slack she is plumpin up the buds like a good girl should.

raised the ph a little, payin close attention to the humidity which is 12% outside I’m tryin to stay around 40%. Down to 450 ish ppm and the ph was 5.8 this mornin which is almost the same as last night. Hopin any future adjustments can be made with my makeup water which is runnin bout 6.5 ph 10 ppm at the tap. Have to warm it up some from the 54f it comes out of the tap. Res temp runnin 68f. She got better air stones a few days ago and I moved the fan to blow downwards on top instead of the side. GROW BABY! 32 days in flower.

Yeah, grow baby! I thought I had my girls scheduled one after the other, but they have different ideas! Sound familiar anyone? I hate the waiting! I'm waiting to see a few amber. I can see it's been worth the wait as the buds are getting fatter!

Fortunately I have a few grows under my belt and am confident when it comes to judging ripeness. I haven’t started checkin the trics yet if you go by the guesstimates I still have another month or so to go. Thing is I now had to tie one UP! Pics are after a trim gettin rid of reachy leaves and bigger ones. I hope she is loosin intrest in the leaves and gettin interested in makin big fat stinky sticky buds.

Wow, results right away. This would explain a lot about my last grow attempts that just didn’t fill out the old blurple lights just weren’t enough. Lots of good things to say about the Mars SP150s

Haha a month or so away from bein finished and I finally checked when I bought the nutes I am usin, GH trio. December 2017. Now there’s a boneheaded noob mistake for ya! It didn’t kill her but I bet it didn’t help things as much as fresh nutes would have. A good plain water flush is underway and a fresh batch of newly purchased nutes is mixed and ready to go.

FWIW, if there is no obvious precipitated salts sloshing around the bottom of the bottles they're likely fine. I've used super old GH 3 part before and its never been an issue. Theres nothing to go bad in there if they're sealed up, just chelated minerals and water.

Hi, Finely i see someone that likes to grow big and veg for over 6 weeks. Too many want to flip early (imho) I like to go 2.5 months at least, I'd go longer if I could stay in supply long enough. I use a 1000w hps and love it for big plants.

Its been 2 years since I harvested my last girl, 15 quart jars full lasted me a long time. Its all for me I don’t sell or share. I have room to go big so why not? My permanent room/area is 9x4x9 and has a window. I like to grow in winter its easier to heat and add humidity than the other way around and I don’t have to worry about light infiltration
