Was just wondering why you where going with such low dosage, that's all. 🤠

I think your thinking is good man! I'm no expert either, but I do try to share what I know and sometimes I learn something new too, like in this case, I didn't know much about the NPK ratios. We live and we learn. 🙂

It sounds like you got it on track now, so good luck on your grow!
No problem asking at all, hope I didn’t come across hostile.
I just came on this forum a few days ago for the first time and asked away, so everyone is very welcoming and helpful!
Hadn’t really realized how much difference there is with synthetic v organic and then substrates on top. Same on the npks except that they are meant to be important. As you said it’s all a learning curve!
At least next time I’ll know where I went wrong… fed three as recommended and they all seem to have larger stretchier flower heads developing than the others so hopefully not too bad. Trying to ignore them today to get a better gage but hard not to worry!
All right good luck n take care

@Randyy this is what I found on a quick search at the time. Im am not super familiar with Biobizz but have been around the block a few times. Have learned this companies love to sell you a 10 product line up when really 1, 2 or 3 would be just fine!!
There would be no point to add the Bloom with little nitrogen to help boost nitrogen to green up his plants
Sometimes I wonder how it is possible to repeat 11,10,22🤔 No one will say that I stole it.But I wouldn't be able to handle such fertilizers.

I would say mostly people have some variations on their NPK and formulas.
Simply were trying to get @Gleneagle87 back on track in a short period of time. That was all 🤘🏼

Then I would try 2+2+1 according to your table
Grow,bloom,mix

I didn't think you were hostile at all, we are good my friend! 🤠

Exactly mistakes are not bad as long as you learn from them. In fact I would say that mistakes are good, because like you say, next time you encounter the same problem you will know how to react to it.

I came on here to avoid all the "Brah" science and people just generally being pricks and I like it on here and expect respect for respect and people with advs
Howdy 🤠

I just read through the thread and I am wondering why you think 1/4 nutrient solution is the way to go? Also, are you not following the BioBizz nutrient schedule? I found it odd that it was suggested to you to only use Grow only or Bloom only, as that is not the recommendation from BioBizz?!

I usually start my feed at 50% nutrient strength and then increase it slowly, until I hit 100% around the beginning of flower. Works like a charm!

Thanks! Just tested mix and ph is about 6.0/6.1 should I add ph up to 6.3/6.5 or just forget about ph completely? Feel like I’ve got ph ocd after synthetics, only issue I’d had with them!
I try to keep my ph down a bit. 5.7-6.3 for me. I don’t like having to add all the adulterations to change it. As mentioned above, your plant needs a lil nitrogen boost, even if going into flower. The plant needs and craves Nutes and h20!
Best of luck!

You failed to read the thread and we never pH soil nor soil feeds or even water.....

Please start getting things right your own assumption is what's killing the knowledge!

To complex those diagrams when every plant needs different things, plus one week your plant will need 3 feedings then one the next week, depends how much they use. Personally I just go off what my plants look like, leafs at 45⁰ (praying) nice and green, but remember healthy "Green" is different with each change, I go for slight painted nails then I know they are cool. The plant that has 3 to 4 week flowering left she's still on 1ml/L Veg and 3ml/L Bloom (canna) now she's getting 0.5ml/L Cal Mag and 0.5ml/L PK, as my buds are getting bigger senescence has started on my Cola fan leafs and some lower fan leafs.

So I know she's sucking nutrients out of the leafs (fully normal on fruiting plants) but the little sugar leafs growing with my buds are perfect.

Just listen to what they tell you, practice with some cheap seeds, bully them, as in starve them, overfeed them, knock the PH off ect ect so you will half a visual reference and you will "know" what 90% of the problems you have then when you spot something you can flush her and start again with what you have learnt what you need to do.

I have one auto call RQS quick one and she's in a 750ml pot, from day one since I put the seed there I've been feeding her with the runoff from the Milky Way F1 lmao, funny thing is she's completely fine, I also topped her. It seems there's enough N in BioBizz light mix for a small little plant.

I've not used an EC meter for years and for PH I use the PH5 TO PH9 strips and it always lands at the colour for PH6 TO PH6.5 lol.

But remember folks I'm only growing again for a hobbie and yield or strength doesn't bother me. I would like to get some heirloom varieties of some Kush and Leb, it will be nice doing something thats not mega strong and a sample of what a landrace looks and tastes like.

Keep it up all 👍

Hello all!
Misunderstood recommendations for first 2 I fed and gave the fix mix instead of grow with the full ‘veg’ line, while the flower heads are much larger than others. One of the fed pots is not drying out so will move it to front next to vent and fan. Managed to feed one with just bio grow and it’s going to have dried out before the others where even fed! Some are going on two weeks still with a fair bit of weight.
Might up extractor and drop humidifier to get them there so I can give them the bio grow as getting very tight on auto timeline…

Tap water follows the world's standard for chlorine and max is 5ppm with 3ppm more often seen.

This can't do anything and doesn't need to be dealt with.

That some can smell chlorine is due to the sensitivity of our noses to even one ppm of it, others aren't so sensitive and there are many chems we can smell at this small level.

Like pH chlorine is pretty irrelevant to us.

Chlorine at this level also cannot kill established population it merely prevents in pipes, once something grows it won't kill it as you see when you pour tap water on moss or microbes.

Apparently there’s a lot of this stuff ‘trihalomethanes’ which is meant to be bad and water failed to reach safe levels of chlorine in 98% or something close of tests, it’s an old network but being replaced.
Looks like a lot of the things we’re taught to fear in growing are more of a marketing thing.

Tap water was made to be human and plant safe, were watering vast amounts of soil crops here with the stuff and no pH control.

Everything about soil here is marketing, can just go to a supermarket buy cheap indoor soil and ferts and succeed.

You should be bubbling that tapwater that’s just my opinio
Bubbling for O2? For chlorines I use neutralize ecothrive to turn them into chlorides, from what I understand.
oh……. I just learned something new… chlorides you say??? And I’m off like the fuggin wind on this. Study time. Thanks man. Yeah I just use an air stone to rid my h2O of any chlorine. 24 hours bubble time is best but this method I must learn.

I’ve got three Colombian gold landrace seeds that look super promising. I think I’m gonna try to germinate them in my next run.

Am just regurgitating the selling point but not sure what it means. Says it oxidizes chlorine and chloramines into chlorides think it’s vitamin-c.
Would usually have air domes and a bigger reserve tank but kinda in temporary growing spot so only have 1.5l bottles of water but have seen a lot of recommendations on using a bubbler for both o2 and chlorine. But if the chlorine levels arnt high enough to make any difference dosnt really matter I guess!
