Really cool looking strain. Ok, I wasn't understanding your situation. I guess it came down to the bud, or thr dog.lol.View attachment 1143939Strain:Bluemonster:harvest around week 11 ( 2 weeks flush)
It's all indoor in normal environment with AC and dehumidifier,I focused on the leaf and floor temp only.
but it's summer now, so I don't have extra room to do proper cure.
My dog used to live in solo bedroom, but now it only lives in the bathroom, lol
I did the same thing before, keeping it at 14 days, but I found that if u increase it by 3-4 days, U don't even need to curing it,I dried and cured my bud using the 60/60 method for 14 days and that is it!
I also was worried about long term storage so I bought a small refrigerator with temp settings so I could adjust.
After placing my buds in vacuum jars they held 60-62% on their own.
after a few days added the bovita rh packs along with mini hygrometers and on lowest setting put my 20 ounces in the fridge.
They have been there 3 months now, bud looks amazing, tastes fresh!
Keep them completely in the dark at all times and inside a glass jar. I keep mine in the living room inside a free foam bag zipped up and the weed is happy to be near the air con during the day and then off at night. I use all manner and kind of glass jars because they work great and buy those terpene preserving packs; IMHO best 21st century. There must be 50 other spins and there is a thread about this topicAppreciate your help, man
Sounds like you're hitting the ball way out of the park on your grow, keep up the good workI did the same thing before, keeping it at 14 days, but I found that if u increase it by 3-4 days, U don't even need to curing it,
Nice! The colors are looking good, and you won't have to worry about any "hey" flavor, or smell. The only N my plants will get is from what's in the calmag, and it will use everything stored up.After reading your previous thread, I decided to give it a try "cut N" in 5 and a half weeks, which is now in day 4, week 8)
Agree. Slowly dry, with just enough wind, but unfortunately that's not an option for him.A wise old hippy showed me a sure way to know when buds are ready for the curing process to begin. Right before he passed me his grow bible to read. Slow dry with fans blowing just enough to circulate the air. To further reduce chance of mold setting in. Slow drying is best, but its personal preference.
Once buds start getting crispy, and become less and less spongy.
Starting with some of the smaller ones, try bending the stems. If they are still pliable and don't make a clean snap. It isn't ready to jar. Not until the stems crack and make a clean break.
Thats the method I followed since day one. Its never steered me wrong in about 15 years of growing.
Once dry. Then into loosely packed glass mason jars to begin the curing process.
I like using large gallon jars. Anything more than 2 cases or more of mason jars becomes tedious. Burping lids on jars 3 - 4 times a day does get tedious. Labor of love or not.
10 4.Agree. Slowly dry, with just enough wind, but unfortunately that's not an option for him.
Once again I agree!10 4.
Everything can use discretion. when it doesn't seem like enough wind blow harder.
Back on to the other note, the stem test check for dryness. If its too humid that could be a tricky one. Buds will follow room temps/humidity and you can only get them so dry. even if a mechanical dryer is used they will return to that level in a matter of no time. Unless you get into those freeze drying methods. Those are out of my rhelm of knowledge.
I tried storing weed with a 6 month cure on it in a freezer. I wouldnt typically do that again unless storage temps were a factor. IMHO it stores best in a cool dark place in the crawl space of the basement. It keeps perfect and even gets better with more age. like fine wine with more time the better it becomes.
Unlike wine it pot will drop off. Pot has a much shorter shelf life. I've not reached it. 2 - 2.5 years was the longest I ever stored pot and it was still nice. Hella smooth nice.
If I wasn't clear enough, to break. not snap, yeah Ive taken them to the over dry snapping point after they got dropped lost and forgotten some place like in a drawer even longer.10 4.

Actually, the new Thai, I've been working on came straight from the source around (Prachuap Khiri Khan) overseas. Big shout out to sambaptai for this Wild Thai Landrace. Can't wait to see her on all her glory, but she'll probably flower for 20 weeks would be my guess.I had a friend way back in the, and he'd always store his bud in the fridge. It was the best bud around by far. It was an original White Rhino from the late 90's.
Man you got a nice hookup. I haven't seen Thia around...idk when? I guess when The Dead was alive
For AC growers, de/humidifiers re really like twin sistersDry your weed in a room with ac that way you can keep your rh in check.
Some loli. They look great! I'll have to check out that vid a little later, and see how ya did it
Beautiful! Is that the cure, or the light N flower? Some loli.
damn it ,so smooth.
