did it come with a dome?I just got an ez cloner and took some clones.
No, the instructions say that a dome decreases success rate with aeroponic clonersdid it come with a dome?
They ALL wilted. Then some came back to life.the smaller ones are obviously gonna show signs quicker, i see some on the right also starting to wilt
do you do foliar water spray? They ALL wilted. Then some came back to life.
nodid you do a foliar water spray?
im just filling up your thread with no aerocloner experience, but im seeing the more expensive ones do have domes
this would be perfect in this scenarion, run the humi for the first days after taking clone sounds gooda cool mist humidifier,,the cool mist humidifier was a game changer for me.
yes and while a dome is close to the plants and keeps them too wet, a tent that is higher up retains the moisture but allows a little breathing, room ,its like a dome just much biggerthis would be perfect in this scenarion, run the humi for the first days after taking clone sounds good
edit: u are using the tent as your dome then
These are in a 2x4 tent. Instructions on the Ez cloner say that 50% RH is sufficientyes and while a dome is close to the plants and keeps them too wet, a tent that is higher up retains the moisture but allows a little breathing, room ,its like a dome just much bigger
Oh and i might add, if you use peat pots,,i swear by them, tear your holes in the peat pots, big holes ,,,before you use them,, if not young roots will get bound in the peat pots and getting them off will horribly shock the plant, and leaving them on will hinder throughout your growyes and while a dome is close to the plants and keeps them too wet, a tent that is higher up retains the moisture but allows a little breathing, room ,its like a dome just much bigger
i do better with about 80, but that my setup yours may differ'These are in a 2x4 tent. Instructions on the Ez cloner say that 50% RH is sufficient
many will argue this. about 2 years ago at the old house i bought 3 gsc clones that where done in pellets with netting left on and grow into trees in the earthOh and i might add, if you use peat pots,,i swear by them, tear your holes in the peat pots, big holes ,,,before you use them,, if not young roots will get bound in the peat pots and getting them off will horribly shock the plant, and leaving them on will hinder throughout your grow
They are in the EZ-CLONE® Clone Collars which are like sterilized styrofoamOh and i might add, if you use peat pots,,i swear by them, tear your holes in the peat pots, big holes ,,,before you use them,, if not young roots will get bound in the peat pots and getting them off will horribly shock the plant, and leaving them on will hinder throughout your grow
its called neoprene disksThey are in the EZ-CLONE® Clone Collars which are like sterilized styrofoam
yeah, that.its called neoprene disks
dont f with the disks its your humidity and the small clones you tookyeah, that.
So you think i should poke the holes bigger but i'm not even worried about that right now
yes absolutely a learning curve. Just looking for independent confirmation of what i am seeing with my eyes. It's pretty obvious to me that the cause of the issue was that i jumped the gun on the cuttings.dont f with the disks its your humidity and the small clones you took
its your first run in the cloner expect a learning curve
