There are a lot of ways to grow. Everything can work. It's just a matter of using each tool or resource correctly. I've grown a whole lot of really nice bud in Ocean Forest. Do I pop seeds in it? No. It's hotter than I like for that. But it works great for late veg and flower.
Hey ArtfulCodger! so for use in late veg and flower would you be transplanting your vegged plants into this “hotter” soil for the flip and stretch?

75% or more of them are already showing signs of being sick. 2 plants in some pots, which is never a good idea.

Im gonnna pop some popcorn and watch this shitshow from the sidelines.

Cause you know it all and need 0 help......

K. Thanks bye!
Lolololololol!! You people are hilarious. I have much better things to do with my time than field these comments. HILARIOUS!!!

Seriously! It was one of many. You crack me up!! Wow! I'm having more fun fielding these comments than I am growing!! You are truly hilarious. I can't stop laughing!! Lololom
And, I've known about that one for weeks!! Do you people have no other hobbies and an unlimited time on ur hands? This is getting really funny to me. I can handle this in my own.

i’m not a100% but nothing true to me about “hot soil” just a term used in most threads and blogs,.. the plant issue is usually caused by human
I think you are right, Happy Frog and Ocean Forest have a very similar nutrient content.

It stresses me out when people say they’ve gotten nute burn just from the soil being “hot”. Like for example, I’ve seen some other thread on this very site, someone else using the ocean forest, and that person claimed the reason his plants were stunted was due to the soil being too hot. Though when looking at pictures of his plant(s) they all seemed overwatered. It’s nothing serious it just gives me anxiety cause I’m using the exact same soil.

ya see,.. hot soil,.. hahaha not even close,..
geezus i plant seeds in promix amended with gaia green,..
geezus we better not plant seeds outdoors in the earth,..
Ocean forest only becomes "hot" when you overwater it, the water soluble nitrogen becomes too much for the little plant to handle imo.

My first 10 grows were ffof and i never had an issue with it being "hot"
You just need to know how to water your plants and ffof is as good as any soil.
