Ok so I have been growing for awhile now. Probably 6months to a year. However I totally went overboard and was trying to grow in hydro, soil and coco coir all at the same time. I was trying to experiment to find which method I preferred. I started off with bag seeds. My plants that made it turned to be male or the spider mite infestation got them and I had some mold issues as I didn't account for the increased humidity the hydro tank would create in my flowering tent.
SO LETS TRY THIS AGAIN...
I was given a bubba Kush plant which in now fully grown and could go into the flower tent at any time however I'm considering keeping it as a mother since it's the only plant I now the strain of and is guaranteed to be female. It's on soil. I took clones already and now have 10 clones rooted ready to go into 1 gallon fabric pails. I also had saved 5 of the bagged seeds and have 2 that have made it to be about 5 weeks old at this point.
I'm being totally honest here I totally overwhelmed myself. Between growing medium, feeding, training etc it's a lot to take in. I need to keep things simple and on the cheaper end of things (for now). I was using general hydroponics flora series but I'm thinking about getting humboldt secrets as it's only a 2 part nutrient which seems much easier. I'm also a mom so I can't spend hours everyday with my plants. I have a ton of coco coir still and really like using it over soil but was thinking of just going with foxfarms soil and the humbolts secret nutrients and sticking to that for this round of plants. Unless someone can recommend something. Like coco/perlite and nutrients would that be enough? Plz any and all imput is greatly appreciated.
