Hempy LED Grow: DP Power Plant

Always harvest based on trichomes to get the full potential out of your grow. ;) A mix of cloudy and amber is what I like.

Yeah thats how Il harvest, just hoping they will be good to chop in 4-5 weeks

well, in 4-5 weeks if they are still popping up a bunch of white hairs then I'd keep going...trichromes are the best indicator but you also want them to look finished as well...sometimes the difference of a week is huge... your plants probably won't all finish at the same time either, some will finish earlier than others...

I agree johnny but if trichs are right the drying/curing process will take care of those white pistils in a matter of days. :)

Day 29 and they stretched again ffs. Had to move the LED up to the absolute highest point it could go, and due to the inline fan and carbon filter the LED is now at a slight tilt.

This slight tilt is causing half the canopy to recieve very little light, and the majority of the light is going to waste in areas where there arent even any tops.

Iv now lost all hope of pulling 6oz, and am just considering this grow as a learning experience.

PS: FUCK satty doms lol

Day 30:

2014 08 24 213344

2014 08 24 213453

I know they look tiny in the pics, but in real life there are buds visible through the pistils and are more developed than they appear here.

Oh, and they are STILL stretching.

Hey Irish, tell me again about your nutes, have u lowered the Nitrogen and increased the phosphorous potassium ?
by reducing the amount of nutes full of N. from NPK you can help this stretch issue sorry I didnt say sooner, but on your mixing scale try to reduce your part that has the high Nitrogen and bump the potassium.
Follow what I am trying to share ?
the bloom boosters and the differences in mixing your nutes can Help how the plant stabilizes during flower.
AND I TOTALLY AGREE WITH @Power OG even-out the light regardless of what you have to do to plant, Led need to be @180 straight up and down on the plant.....
Stay with it Irish and the buds will be GREAT ! ! ! ! !

Im using AN PH Perfect Grow Micro Bloom and all 3 parts must be added in equal amounts.

And honestly theres no way possible to even out the LED, there is zero space, and like I said the plants are already too close. The buds themselves will continue to grow even if the stretch stops, I simply cant lower it without burning and bleaching the tops

Nah man, they're right. You do need to even that light. Bend those stalks over. Make sure to give them a good pinch, or they might snap. At this point, you'll either have to tie them down after you bend them, or manually make sure they stay down. Good luck.

Thank you brother cuz if he dont straighten that light you lose yield almost half because half your tops are now not gettin light. Bend em or tie em down but please even the light out. I dont want to see you loose half of what you worked hard for Irish brother

We or I
imho are just going by my own experience with the LEDs
I would rather see you snap 3, 4 or hell 6 branches lay um over bro it will work out.

One thing is for sure.......
You have A green Thumb Bro and a Grow you can be proud of. . . . . . .

All the Danky support I can share my friend

Thanks guys, tbh evening out the light actually isnt that important anyway because the two plants in the darker area are bad phenos anyway and were never going to yield much.

The two strongest phenos are recieving the most light, and tbh I should have thrown out the other two and focused only on the two good phenos weeks ago.

Wouldnt pinching and bending add like an extra week to the grow anyway?

Im not too worried about diminished yield now, I just want a harvest. The whole grow has gone to shit now so Im not concerned too much about yield and am just considering this a valuable learning experience.

Whoa man, first off, stay positive!

Don't think about this grow as a loss, but every grow you do will be a learning experience.

This current grow isn't a loss, at all. Don't think about your harvest in terms of a certain amount of weeks, learn to read the trichomes.

Again, I'd suggest leveling out the light. Focus on growing every plant as well as you possibly can.

You can bend the tops to 45 degrees, just be careful man.

Day 33:

2014 08 27 185944
2014 08 27 190000
2014 08 27 190114

Had to chop the worst one due to an emergency. Long story but it had to be chopped. No big deal, it was a shit plant anyway with no bud formation just lots of immature pistils. It wouldnt have even yielded a few grams by the looks of it

Coming along nicely... and the root ball looks healthy. Are those 10L pots?

Thanks man, they looking ok for day 33? Your the guy to ask since you have experience with this strain lol.

The buckets are 12L but Id say only about 10L is being used due to the coco being about 2 or 3 inches down from the top of the bucket.

They look like they're developing on schedule and they really tend to fill out the most in the last 2-3 weeks... judging by your pics alone I would say let them go at least 60 days and keep a really close eye on the trichomes.

Yeah Im hoping they will be ready around 60 days give or take a few days. They really do look so much further on in real life, the pics dont do them justice.
