Well it's time for an update. The skunks are doing great. I can't say for sure how tall they would be, because I had to LST the main tops. But the tallest limb is 30 inches. They have an increasing number of pistles and have started to smell a bit. You can easily see the sativa showing through in the leaves now. I contacted the person I got the seeds from to inquire about the genetics. He told me they are from a cross between magnum and super skunk. He's not aware of any color in the lineage but that some strains grown at high altitude can sometimes pass on those charicturistics that weren't aparent in the mother. Well I know that my plant has color. And they are looking good. I will try to exploit those colors when it gets closer to the end of flowering. The idks are doing fine. The small one is filling in nicely and the big one has some clone options opening up.

Well here we are going into week 7. Last week I had some difficulties with the gate keeper. He doesn't like the idea I'm growing weed on gov. Property so he killed my power and was dragging his feet getting it fixed. I had to put my plants in a sunny window. When I confronted him about it he got upset and tried to kick me out of his office and an altercation ensued. After he was taken to the hospital I got placed in custody for two days. I'm out now but came back to find my plants in need. They hadn't been watered and some leaves are showing signs of phosphorous deficiency. They are 36 inches tall now. And the flowers are getting bigger. Monday is their feeding day but I may do it tomorrow in light of the deficiency.

OK tomorrow starts week 7 but I fed them last light with a flowering tea. I hope it helps but they are a week behind on getting it. The plant in back is 38 inches! They are growing g so fast! I will need to feed the photos with a veg tea that's brewing now. I took a clone from the mother to flower. I want to see what it's going to produce. Ithe has almost filled the trellis. I'll take one from the other idk in a week or so and flower it too. Which ever is better, I'll use to do my outside sog later this summer. The other will get flowered next.

Update! The skunks are doing great, still getting g bigger. The tallest is 44 inches. I had to flush and reduce nitrogen . I was getting the claw leaves. But Tuesday starts week 8 and flowering nutes and molasses. The idks are looking wonderful I even got a few clones off one. I'll get a few more while manicruring it for flower.

I just noticed the autos are developing trichromes! Quite small yet but I can see them.

Well I'm not sure where the time went but the autos broke grown on March 13th and that means this coming Monday day starts week 11! There is not much trichrome development. Could it be the lights? Could it be tempreture? My grow room stays around 80 all the time. They look good.

Well they made it to week 12. Last night I got a magnifier that I could see with and found most of the trichromes to be cloudy and some that were amber so I made the first cut. It doesn't look like the yield will be what I'd hoped but the sample I took the other day was excellent. So I'm OK with that. It has been fun growing these autos. And a learning experience as this was my first autos. I have 6 magnum widows left and plan to grow them one at a time as a side grow to my photos. The firstwo cut is drying now and when it's dry , I'll weigh it and post pics. I have 25 clones about ready to flower so my next trick will be my first sog. And then a scrog with one of the mothers.

Mine the skunk ones the only two that did anything were males.
I aquired some widow auto's also . They are doing ok. Still only a week or so. I have eight going now.
