No.... not fact. The light works by generating a frequency of 254 nm. This breaks the DNA bonds in the mycelium of powdery mildew. Exposure time for this event is much faster. I tho0ught this was an advanced growing thread. Opinions are never facts. My interest is in preventing powdery mildew without spraying.
