Saturday, May 31st.
Quarter Sack Classic Disc Golf Tournament
THCFarmers Only
Entry fee: 1/4 of your finest. There WILL be a beasters division, LOL!
Top 3 "split the pot"
Location and details TBD

you're reading the first flyer, lol. My company or my self will sponsor this; I'd like to have a lunch spread on private property immediately following the tourney. We will not be collecting entry fees at the course, of course. I do not intend for this to be a competitive dick-measuring contest, but a good time to hang with some fellow farmers.
I would be happy to come all the way from east if this happens , would be a awesome idea just a thought thou we know big brother is always watching so advertising a thcfarmers only thing with and a place and a time ?? kinda different than just going to a cup with 1000's of people or am i just being to security minded if there is such a thing

We will only be a group of friends on the course, if we use a public course. I'm working on getting a private course built or rented. The award ceremony/lunch/after party will be on private property. I will encourage everyone to be safe and travel only with what's legal. There should be no issues, since we'll be breaking no laws. We may have to figure out the legal ramifications of "splitting the pot" at the end, or limiting winnings to what can be legally possessed. I don't intend for this thing to turn into something huge; spots will definitely be limited.

Shit, Soser, if you come all this way, I'll post your buy-in.

I also am starting the local buzz; one of the local hydro shops is going to kick in some prizes.

They werent allowed to pass out seeds last year
I'm not sure about the med section but I was at the top dog booth and they weren't allowed to deal anything
Not saying I didn't come home with a pocket full of seeds lol
I've got my tickets already
Be warned rooms will be hard to find
Peace ez

I'm liking the local group of friends thing more so than the HTC.... Thanks Altitude. Last year responses to the HTC were pathetic......no one whom I talked to had a good time. HTC is a NO for me.
Agreed as with the legality and the over whelming crowd chances are slim you will run into anyone you don't know , i would much rather play golf with a bunch of fellow farmers (of course i prefer best ball ) as my game is not the best but i get in a grove once in awhile ...

Shoot, guys, we could do a couple days if you want. If all turns out perfect, we'll have a ranch with a private course and plenty of space for camping. I am looking into the cost of baskets. I have a couple welder buddies who throw and have made disc golf baskets. I am going to try and swing the cost of making them. If Logic is cool with it, I'm going to start a thread for the tournament. If we have enough for a campout, there will also be Polish horseshoes, and a few other fun things.

In my opinion, that's perfect. I imagine the cost of reserving it for the day beats buying 19 new baskets. Is this course near Bucksnort slab? I have climbed there a few times. The bar there was interesting back in the late 90s.

It is above the Bucksnort saloon up old stage coach road. There is this private course right around the corner as well and this is where we check in

I didn't even realize these places were in my hood! We can eat at Zoka's restaurant if people want. Kurt does a badass job with the food and drinks, best damn green chili cheese fries ever.

The bucksnort saloon is still there. The food and drinks kinda suck these days. I usually have "a" beer or iced tea as the atmosphere is worth seeing for 15 minutes and then go to Zokas for real belly fuel.

I think it's free to play but donations are very appreciated.

As far as camping is concerned there are a few places up here. Wellington lake comes to mind, private camping spots can be reserved there and there is free national forest camping all around it. http://www.castlemountainrec.com/

The camping is about 10 miles from the disc golf course, a mellow drive up 126.

I am thinking a group of respectful gardeners ought to be welcomed to throw a tourney there. I'll probably find a spot near to camp for the weekend and get a little climbing in. I asked logic if I could start a thread, but he hasn't gotten back to me. I may do it in the CO forum. We should find out what kind of group size Zoka's can accomodate; maybe set up a "banquet"...
