There is no whoever gives out the most. 40g. is the required amount for entry of strain. 10 judges far as I've heard thus far. There is a smoking social area also. I have no clue how many shops have entered but I do know there was a cap of 40 strains per catergory ie Indica Sativa Hybrid. That cap has been reached.

Isn't it illegal to smoke pot in public view? Or is this just a fancy spot to smoke cigs?

Technically it isn't public. More of a [private social gathering and red cards are required for entry into smoking areas. If you arent in you will not be exposed to it,far as I can tell how they did it. I know they been working with MED as far as how to get this thing approved. Kush 818 by all means stop by ACA booth and come smoke some crap with us mang ;)

I have several passes and a whole stack of party invitations and my time off request for tomorrow has been approved. Hate to say it but this entire Cup thing strikes me as a load of crap. I'm going to twist up a whole bunch of joints and take a ride up to the headwaters of the Arkansas R. I don't like big crowds or chemically treated weed.
Friends are coming thru in the morning and I'm going to hook them up with the passes and what all.
My apologies to the folks I told I'd see in Denver. I just can't bring myself to attend.

then don't go. plenty of peeps that do want to and I for one think it will be a blast. rigged, not rigged- I couldn't tell you. but I know it will be a good time meeting new and old peeps, seminars are always good (unless your a know it all and don't see any use in continuing to further your knowledge .....), and it will be *fun*. besides, it's 1st of it's kind event here. a bunch of folks are gonna get butt hurt no matter if it's totally legit.
seen a couple folks mention chem or pesticide treated entries - really? while I'm not competing at all, so have no vested interest either way - it would seem pretty rediculous to me, as a grower, to submit something to such a large/prestegious event that is sub-par is inviting certain wrath and condemnation after the products are tested (do you really think entries won't be run through Full Spectrum Labs for analysys?).
