I was running a 405 Chrome LED from Lighthouse Hydro before I switched and it gets a little warmer but really, not that much worse. Having good intake and exhaust fans set up helps. That 405 was a BEAST, I was getting bigger, fatter buds with it than a guy I know who was running a 1000w HPS, he wasn't pleased!
