I now cut and trim off lrg sun leafs and cut branches from main stalk,leaving it attached to main stalk,and hang dry for atleast 2weeks or close.
73* ish in temp and around 60 %humidity,that way it takes a little time to dry.
Then once stem snaps,I start trimming off sugar leafs and then jar up. If still a little moist then I paper bag for a day or so .
Opening jar daily for 30 mins at time.
That's my way for now.

Here's my Christmas gift for my parents. I'm cheap so I build any thing I can for a gift.

It's not finished of course, but there's a glass top in the middle that will be frosted on bottom , that needs to be framed in and finish the backs. Then a stain and sealer. The seat and backs are Malasian hardwood that I ripped into 2" wide by 1/2" thick.

Three times the size of pot. 1gal pot gets 3gal of water. Do it in the bath tub and let sit in there for about 30mins to drain off good.
So run a gallon thru her , sit for about 5min then hit with the other two gal at once.
You might have to do it twice, once now and once at week 8/9 .
