thanks brother you too, im sure your gonna rapid dry a few samples of that dankness for friends and family haha enjoy the fruits of your labor. me going back to work means ill be able to upgrade my setup soon( and hopefully i get decent yield from this harvest to help) id like to double my wattage to 2kw and change out the bat wing reflector for 2 magnum xxxl reflectors. with that amount of light ill need to get a ventilation system together but that should allow me to run a full room of plants, if im not mistaken i have around 12X12' of room to play with in there. gonna try and stuff her full of autos for the next run and figure out if the benefits outweight the cost of buying so many fem auto beans. But with me leaving for work for 5 weeks at a time and then being home for 5 weeks i need to keep it as simple as possible for the wife to be able to take care of the girls when im not home and she's not really the greenthumb kind hhaha

Oh yea your gonna have to vent. Thats all I grow is autos. Don't have the for tall plants. I like to keep mine around 3-3 1/2 ft. tall. I'm just learning about the nutes now. @Papa Indica and @str8smokn have been fantastic with me. I'll tell ya one thing listen and take in all the info they give ya. Those 2 boys know what their doing. They both are straight forward and to the point. 2 great people!!

@str8smokn has been helping me with my first 2 plants and this one a combination of the 2 of them. When I came to this site I knew nothing about growing weed. All I knew was put a seed in the ground and watch it grow. Duhhh!!!

Believe me I grow out of my walkin closet. lololol. I can maybe grow 2 plants. But I'm growing this for me as it helps me with my illness.

yeah @str8smokn is big help man, i have 8 foot ceilings to play with but next go around im gonna do it right and mylar line the entire room, walls ceiling and floor, should pretty much sceal the room up and ill vent to another room to reuse the heat. the house has central air in the summer so ill be sure to leave the option of the house ventilation in there and throw in a carbon filter somewhere in the mix to take car of scent.
i just have one room to play with and dont really see myself dividing it up into 2 separate rooms so autos are my best bet for good harvest with the space i got and the simplicity of not having to fuck with timers and all for the wife. plus the timeframe on the autos works out pretty good with my schedule seing as i can start them when i get home and harvest around the time i get home as this will put em at 10 weeks. and still give me the option of letting them go to 11 weeks if need be.

im growing so that i can have steady good bud when i can smoke and sell the rest off to friends although they have no clue where its from and im happy to keep it that way. id estimate i have room for 40 autos in there at one time

Well you'll have to let me knows how she smokes. I'm the same way only my wife and my great friend know. When I'm out he's there for me. I have mine on a timer and that is a good thing. It starts at 7am and ends at 9pm. She's on fourteen hrs. light now. I only have 2 things pluged into it. My light bill all summer only went up by $20 bucks. We have to have air here in the summer.

i definatly will man, im shopping around seing whats out there as far as auto strains go i dont want too many different strains at once but i would mind having up to 4 strains going at any given time. im still unsure wether ill do a perpetual scattered grow or one bigger one every 10-11weeks but i have untill these ones are ready to make up my mind. definatly looking forward to some feedback from your hindu auto!

Believe it or not I would go with the big grow. I would love to see the difference between plants. Thats just me though. Oh I'll let you know how she smokes.

im leaning towards having them all in there at the same too as this simplifies things quite a bit, it'll be a pain in the ass to trim and dry all of it at once but the room is there, the lighting is the same wether there 20 or 40 plants in there ill still be running 2kw so might aswell pack her full and enjoy a lil bit of variety. having so much and so little patience should allow me to let most of it cure decently while i can still enjoy some of it that i can dry a lil quicker just to hold me till the rest is well cured. im sure my friends will enjoy the variety and quality just as much as i do and hopefully their contribution will cover the price of seeds for the next grow and hopefully the electrical cost. thats all im after really, if i can smoke for free and have the price of my grows covered and have alot of product i dont mind packing my freezer right full haha itll let me gift some to family members who also enjoy the smoke

I take it you have been growing awhile. This is new to me. Well not so new..

ive had a few crops before but this was 6 or 7 years ago and in a ebb and flow table and DWC buckets, im trying to keep it as simple as possible this time around because hydro gave me all sorts of issues, is harder for my wife to learn and well promix was cheap and readily available. i may not have that luxury again depending on when the plants finish this time seeing as it may be right in the heart of winter and ill be shit out of luck trying to pickup another 4cuft block of promix then lol. if thats the case ill wait until the promix is available again before i start another big run no big deal. i have a few bags of promix potting mix kickin around that should let me get at least 10 3gallon pots out of so if thats all i can play with until spring then oh well so be it.
