How do cheese strains do outdoors?

Some of the best bud I’ve smoked was some outdoor cheese my brother grew around 08-09, grown in a mountain region in so-cal. Had almost a blue tint to it and a very distinct coffee smell and very gassy flavor. Plant yield was pretty hefty as well so we smoked on it for a while.

Check your region's climate and sunlight hour schedule and base what you purchase off of that. It all depends on how many weeks above freezing there are with less than 12 hours of sunlight.

Thats why I was wondering about the midwestern area. Maybe I should have put that in the title. I'm just wondering how it would do around here. California has nicer weather and I think longer days.
