I have one too and the driver doesn't get hot at all. There must be something wrong with yours. Mines pretty new so that might be the reason but there's no heat from the driver.

What are you running?
I have 3 of these "2000w" carambola white rose led led strips with veg- bloom switch in the flower tent. They do the trick but not quite enough coverage. 2.7 micromoles per joule, 130w out of the wall, sunlike spectrum. 4'×.5' foot print tho is only think im concerned with. Added red and uv. I was thinking about getting a 4th of the same but instead I think i want to try 2 viparspectra p1000 to add. The p2000 rated for 3x3.5 flower so I figure 2 of the 1000s would be same light but more versatile. 8 plants

I like my xs2000. I think the p series is too blue but that's just my preference. Also the xs series has samsung diodes.

I ordered 6 units of the 200w v2 w/ rspec 3500k from Alibaba and love them so far. I run an extension wire so drivers are out of grow space. Boards are cool enough to hug. Have 4 running at 175w each for full canopy lighting. More boards, less watts needed, longer unit life spans, it pays of down the line.

I was as well. But went for it, and amid all the 2020 crap. Will do it again in few months to get the rest for my new rooms. Best indoor I've grow in a while with them. Can't beat less than $100 bucks a watt

Some Companies "assemble" them in house, but the parts are mostly all from Japan or China. And even the equipment used to assemble them is made there as well. Comes down to the "bin" quality level. Can even have your own custom name and logos on them for the right price just like the big boys LOL

I didn't even pay through the site, used paypal. If there were any problems just open a ticket with paypal. Its 2021 not 2001, things are a little safer on the internet if you use some common sense
