6500 cash money for an elbow of that on the black market in my neck of the woods on east coast all day everyday 5500 for a bow of real ecsd and chemdawgs [any] fetch about 600 an ounce--now cuts theres money in them here too

lol i was mistaken, mr dizzle said that 4+ isnt happening. well looks like you have top shelf. if you can't get 38+ for that you are going to the wrong place or are not a very good salesman.

Man, some of the statements on this thread make me laugh. There are some clueless people on the Farm here apparently. Sale price is only half the equation - which is something that a lot of people seem to forget. Your yields and your efficiency dictate your profit more than a final sale price.

If you are getting twice the yield and spending half as much on supplies as someone who is getting $4k a lb, then even at $3k you are still raking in over 50% more profit than the person getting $4k. This is exactly why, despite the lower price, outdoor is usually FAR more profitable than indoor ever has been or ever will be.

You need to be looking at your total profit margin if you want to know how much you are really making with any business. Final sale prices are meaningless if you don't know how much time and money if cost to produce what you are selling.

Oh and just my two cents but stating specifically what prices you are selling an illegal drug at is pretty fucking stupid. I mean if you want a public record of you admitting to multiple felonies, be my guest, but keeping the discussion more general, without stating specifically what YOU are selling for is probably a good idea. Sales of any kind for profit, even in Cali, and even to a dispensary, is ILLEGAL. There is enough info on this thread to lock a couple people up for a long time if "they" were really motivated enough to go after those individuals.

love it blaze. every harvest i run all most costs and get a price per gram, price recieved per gram, and profit per gram. i think it was bay area that i saw doing this and it stated me doing it.

I was thinking about that myself. I've gotta admit it's interesting to hear about what's going on w/ growers from different locales and w/ diff situations but I figured there would be more of a 215 compliant vibe in this section and thread. But yer right Blaze. Legal or not, it's prolly a good policy not to flaunt it on the outside chance that the man be watchin' and he be thinking that we be tauntin'. i never once said i sold a thing i just stated going rate in western masses black market i dont sell cannabis i smoke my own---now that last sentence pretty much is for everybody unless there legally medical so :bongsmi::bongsmi::harvest::bongsmi:

There are folks at the Red Cross making over $250k a year and they are a non-profit. You need good accountants & lawyers and just about anything is possible.

I'm not en expert in this area but I'm fairly sure that small, for reasonable profit corporations under non-prof co-op umbrellas are legal. The laws are vague in important areas and open to varying interpretation. Jurisdiction, local law enforcement and political environment etc. influence what determines 'Legal' and 'Illegal' from county to county for all intents and purposes.

Oh they are legal, but the way a lot of clubs operate, where someone walks in with pot, and the club hands them cash, is not legal.

None of this is legal at the federal level anyway so it's sort of a moot point. You can follow all the guidelines, be 100% legal with the state, and still end up in jail.

Lawyers and accountants can help for sure, but if you think that will shield you from the Feds if they go to bust you, you are quite naive.

Wow,I'm from there and know that market quite well. You must be talking about some young spoiled ass rich college kids at those numbers. Those prices were hard to get 3-4 years ago. I used to get 64 then 58,now I hear top notch heady indoor at 45-48.
I'm happy to be away from there and be legal med now.

lol we are talking about going rates for lb, so farmers aren't getting fucked by whatever the clinics want them to believe...we are not talking about the turn over of you're garden...we are talking about was the going rate for decent to bomb indoor. 3200-4200.
you are nieve as fuck if you think they really only paying 32max @ 60/8th.

I have some associates who would add an exclamation point to that statement. They spent 10's of thousands of dollars on lawyers and a CPA to make sure all of the i's were dotted and t's crossed- incorporated, registered w/ the state, county, PG&E, paying taxes and presumably doing everything by the letter of the law. The sheriffs came in, (I'm not certain if the DEA was involved), did a romp and stomp and asked questions later. No charges were initially filed, no arrests, no computers confiscated- just a total destruction of 2010's outdoor crop and some irreplaceable genetics in their indoor rooms. Charges were later filed and are currently up for dismissal. Given the facts, it's a forgone conclusion that they will be dismissed. My friends have filed a suit but the damage has been done. This is what can happen to people who do everything in their power to go legit.

Yep, and sadly similar stories have played out all over California. A lot of people seem to forget that prop 215 only shields you from prosecution at the state level. Local LEO can still rip up your plants, destroy your crop, and cause you all sorts of head-aches and problems for legal growers, even if they do not ever get charged. It has been a common tactic for local LEO here in Mendo to drop in, destroy a garden, and then just leave. I think a lot of time they know full well that the chances of them getting charges to stick is slim (especially in Mendo), so they don't bother with arrests or prosecution - they just try to make life miserable for the grower.

Our last DA was pretty notorious for that - she was supposed to be "tough on illegal marijuana" when she got elected. Well turns out she preferred to go after small legal medical gardens mostly, rather than the big illegal grows in the state forests. That first year she was in office arrested something like 700 people, including trimmers and workers, mostly from legal gardens. It was all a bunch of bullshit of course, so only like 2% of the people ever got charged, and the county ended up wasting something like $11 million dollars on cases that never went to trial. Regardless, it still created a lot of problems for some of the the legal local growers who got "busted", since they lost their crops and hand to spend a bunch of money on lawyers and what not. Luckily the bitch got voted out last election - even all the anti-marijuana people were pissed at here because she wasted so much time and money and had nothing to show for it.

Until the Feds change their stance on medical marijuana there will always be a lot of risk, even for a legal medical grower. IMO, one should still treat their medical grow more or less as an illegal operation, don't be blatant about what you do, and make sure your ass is covered, even if you are in compliance with the medical guidelines.
