you don't have the right cuts then. If you want a cheap clone they are there. If you want something better than expect the $$ to go up. If anybody sais they want a clone for 5$ from me i'll start laughing lol
Hahaha what?
So if you do mono crops with OG you're doing it all wrong eh?
Also I don't see folks making 3-4k a lb with tomatoes. It's a horrible analogy.
well hell krinken. put up a list of what you got. i got a pocket full of $8 packs for you lol imo preserving a strain takes a lot of effort and resources. Lots of people EXPECT you to do favors and give out your best cuts for practically nothing. this i don't get. don't put the work in but expect the reward. good luck to all.i have cuts - some of the best around - ask anybody in my area - thats a fact
and those same cuts, i didn't pay anything for....ya know why? i got friends who i dont dick around
i've paid WAY more for seeds than cuts BUT i do understand the business end of the seed business and i don't know any of these hot shot breeders personally (unless you wanna call kaya a breeder lol) so i gotta pay market value just like the rest of you...but it doesn't get too far out of market value like you morons get with some of these cuts....
of course - but only because there's no shortage of idiots in this industry
girl scout cookies would've never been what it became if it weren't for those same idiots
like you morons get with some of these cuts....
pshhh...its not easy to get that price - some of these guys are lucky to get $2k for some of the hay they're turning out...
it is not easy work - i see a LOT of crap - and so do you - so dont gimme that shit that all these guys are getting 3-4k a lb....
it depends on your clientele - if my guys called and all i had was the same 10 lbs of OG, they wouldn't be happy and they'd take less overall because most of them need variety - thats where we're at now and thats reality
so yes - the days of mono-cropping are over
Everybody is posting there thoughts on this topic nicely so there is no reason 2 start calling names.. Keep it kool like everybody els..
Not so fast there, cowboy! I agree with the market's demand for variety, but that doesn't make variety and monocropping mutually exclusive. You can run a perpetual set-up and if your harvest times are close enough, you could run one monocrop after another and still have variety, as long as each successive monocrop was a different strain. If a given grower only ran one strain, he might run into problems- unless his product quality is good, then he will enjoy the demand of customers who want something only he can provide consistently...

All good doggie.. I juss didn't want this thread 2 take a turn 4 the worse..don't take it so literal - but generally speaking, this industry doesn't necessarily have the most intelligent of the lot - i'm not saying you guys are idiots or morons specifically - i mean i'm part of the same crowd of idiots, generally speaking...

It's very easy if you grow good weed. Especially if you mono OG's! lol 32-35 is totally standard market pricing in CA right now for good ins so you have no idea idea what the fuck you're talking about.
The consumer needs variety not the grower. It's completely idiotic to think that if a grower such as myself is missing out on anything by mono cropping. If everyone grew the same strain it would be one thing but that will never happen and the point you're trying to make is ridiculous. If you knew anything about growing then you'd know that you should be doing monos to get the most out of every run.
"THE DAYS OF MONO-CROPPING ARE OVER!" Says lord Krinken! lol get a fuckin' clue bro...
