you don't have the right cuts then. If you want a cheap clone they are there. If you want something better than expect the $$ to go up. If anybody sais they want a clone for 5$ from me i'll start laughing lol

i have cuts - some of the best around - ask anybody in my area - thats a fact

and those same cuts, i didn't pay anything for....ya know why? i got friends who i dont dick around

i've paid WAY more for seeds than cuts BUT i do understand the business end of the seed business and i don't know any of these hot shot breeders personally (unless you wanna call kaya a breeder lol) so i gotta pay market value just like the rest of you...but it doesn't get too far out of market value like you morons get with some of these cuts....

Hahaha what?

So if you do mono crops with OG you're doing it all wrong eh?

Also I don't see folks making 3-4k a lb with tomatoes. It's a horrible analogy.

pshhh...its not easy to get that price - some of these guys are lucky to get $2k for some of the hay they're turning out...

it is not easy work - i see a LOT of crap - and so do you - so dont gimme that shit that all these guys are getting 3-4k a lb....

it depends on your clientele - if my guys called and all i had was the same 10 lbs of OG, they wouldn't be happy and they'd take less overall because most of them need variety - thats where we're at now and thats reality

so yes - the days of mono-cropping are over

well hell krinken. put up a list of what you got. i got a pocket full of $8 packs for you lol imo preserving a strain takes a lot of effort and resources. Lots of people EXPECT you to do favors and give out your best cuts for practically nothing. this i don't get. don't put the work in but expect the reward. good luck to all.

Not so fast there, cowboy! I agree with the market's demand for variety, but that doesn't make variety and monocropping mutually exclusive. You can run a perpetual set-up and if your harvest times are close enough, you could run one monocrop after another and still have variety, as long as each successive monocrop was a different strain. If a given grower only ran one strain, he might run into problems- unless his product quality is good, then he will enjoy the demand of customers who want something only he can provide consistently...

don't take it so literal - but generally speaking, this industry doesn't necessarily have the most intelligent of the lot - i'm not saying you guys are idiots or morons specifically - i mean i'm part of the same crowd of idiots, generally speaking...

why would i put up a list? so you guys can all start hitting me up for clones? beat it, kid...

i wouldn't sell anybody anything that i didn't like - so if i work with you, it's because i like you as a person - and if i like you as a person, i can't see myself charging you much more than about $10 for any cut that i have - and i got cuts (true story)

I do mono crops and kill it. I get 3-4k all day. Where you at anyways? All this sounds so foreign to you so I'm curious.

Post up a list of those $10 cuts holmes!

It's very easy if you grow good weed. Especially if you mono OG's! lol 32-35 is totally standard market pricing in CA right now for good ins so you have no idea idea what the fuck you're talking about.

The consumer needs variety not the grower. It's completely idiotic to think that if a grower such as myself is missing out on anything by mono cropping. If everyone grew the same strain it would be one thing but that will never happen and the point you're trying to make is ridiculous. If you knew anything about growing then you'd know that you should be doing monos to get the most out of every run.

"THE DAYS OF MONO-CROPPING ARE OVER!" Says lord Krinken! lol get a fuckin' clue bro...

You guys are lucky, flooded markets driving prices bellow 1500 for ins right now (kushkushkush).. A boom in domestic grows as well as legalization in a couple states slowing export is causing this..

the grower needs variety because the middle mook needs variety because the consumer needs variety...i dont have to explain that anymore...

so no one strain is a holy grail

selling clones that are of high quality at a low rate is a service you provide to your community to help weed out the weaker strains

how many shitty af-gooey's and how many shitty blue dreams and white widows are out there nowadays that the newbies pass around? there's a lot...why is that? because people dont give a shit - they're just there to make a buck

putting out the correct strain is a good deed and makes you a little more noble to a community of growers...

i dont need to charge anybody more than $10 and i'm not going to - ever - actually id rather keep it at $8 so i dont have to plant them for you too

i hope we can all remain friends over this :)

Growers are the variety. That's why there's a "middle mook". They get to shop around and gather all the flavors from their network of growers. Growing a bunch of strains in one room is fun but not practical. Depending on the scale you're growing at It's pretty hard to get rid of say a 1/2 of this, a qp of that, etc...People want full units of one flavor. Plus, different strains like different food, thus making it even more impractical to grow several strains at once.

One strain can most certainly be a holy grail for a grower. I grow an OG that's spoken for before it's even dried and trimmed. That to me is priceless. This is not the case when my room has 10 strains in it. Depends on your "middle mook" I guess.

I'm all about selling high quality clones for $8. I did exactly that full time for a year. At the collective I was working with we put out a list of all the strains I had so people could place orders. Guess what the top sellers were....Afgoo and Blue Dream! Guess it's my fault that those were the strains folks wanted eh? There were 28 strains to choose from (OG's, Chems, Aliens..you name it). I'm no noob and I do give a fuck so once again I disagree with you and your blanket statements.

I get clones for free most of the time, everyone has some. When I do pay, 3 to 5 bucks mostly, 10 bucks max and that's when im just lazy and don't ask around !!

yea but if i can make the middle mook get more from me rather than shopping around for more flavors, thats better for me

lets say i have six lights and 6 different flavors as opposed to 6 lights 1 flavor, i guarantee the middle mook will take more - the middle mook would rather have a one-stop shop - wouldn't you?

and im not at all suprised afgooey and blue dream were the top sellers at the place you work at - thats why i mentioned those...
