Yes Linux Mint is very user friendly and Ubuntu based. I have several devices loaded with Linux OS's and really have liked Fedora for quite some time now. You can really tighten the security of Fedora in ways the other Linux OS's can't. Not only that but the NSA provides some documentation to assist in this matter and the rest you can figure out.

Back in 83 I was using BSD Unix so command line is where the power is; still use BSD occasionally.

I have fedora on my laptop very happy with it, used to use Ubuntu but it's becoming too commercialised.

I use tails on a usb boot stick whenever I use friends pc's and on a laptop I have at work that the HD is f**ked.

If it wasn't for cad I would never boot windows again, I do own an Imac (A gift) but the day I got it I installed windows on it and it's my cad machine.

I fucking LOVE GIMP! Thanks for sharing this. Do you happen to know what happened to the color and text selectors in the most recent edition of GIMP, though? It's really put a damper on my GIMPy shenanigans and I've gone over to Libre Draw to get certain things done.

I also LOVE Openshot for video editing. SUPER user-intuitive. It just tends to crash at saves.

Linux Mint Cinnamon here. I wonder if I can upload my favorite gif of all time.
