Just wondering what are the difference in components between a 400 and 600 hps magnetic ballast? Are the coils the same? And what about the capacitor and other component? Thanks in advance.

after digging into it a little I'm finding the difference seems to be the Capacitor's voltage and MFD rating, notice the difference between the Voltage and UF rating in the following examples.

Some 250 Watt HPS Mag. Ballast calls for: 250 Watt High Pressure Sodium 35UF 240V

Some 600Watt HPS Magnetic Ballast calls for: 600 Watt High Pressure Sodium 64UF 300V

Some 1000 Watt HPS Mag. Ballast calls for: 1000 Watt High Pressure Sodium 26UF 540V
