Not in Colorado my man, the weather in october will kill your plant, if you got plants that are ready to flower put them outside but otherwise at this point i would Highly discourage this its much more difficult then it looks in the pictures. you got many many many things you need to take into account while preparing for a outdoor grow like bugs, water supply, organics, and the list goes on and on. Start doing your research now for next year and you will have a nice little garden but as for your 3/4 lbs by october, pipe dreams.:bong-hits:

I am aware that this is not as easy as just putting a plant outside and letting mother nature do her work.

Outside is already "dialed in" with abundance of light, and co2 (300ppms)

I understand I need good soil-Ocean Forrest (7 bags for A 100 GAL smart pot)

I understand that small pots reduce yield dramatically because we need to increase the plants dripline . bigger pots, bigger plants

I understand we need good fertilizer, I will use Fox farm Nutrients and follow their schedule either watering by hand, or by 10-20 1gph drippers dep on size of smart pots.

I have the ability to construct a greenhouse relitively quick with inline fans for ventilation and heaters if it gets cold in october.

Plant will be sprayed 2-3 times a week under the leaves with neem oil/azatrol mix. (but not after 4 weeks flower)

From what I understand flowering will begin August-and end October 1st for my 8-9 week indica's

Dolomite Lime & Perlite will be mixed with the Ocean Forrest (anything else reccomended)

In case the dolomite lime isnt just right PH for the soil will be mixed with 6.3-6.8 PH

What do you think??? I am along the right lines to success I believe I just can't find anything thread that shows you how to do this right with optimal yields....

People ask me all the time what brand of nutes I use thinking that is the secret to big plants and buds. I actually don't use any bottled nutes. I do use a couple different Organic mite sprays that come in bottles but that is about it. This year I am also trying Brix Mix as a foliar spray. I do a really hot soil mix and I top dress with high nitrogen bat guano and earth worm castings during veg. During bud I will switch to high phosphorus bat guano. I will also be using some locally made compost tea. I also use the EWC as a foliar and soil drench. Good ol Organics is the secret to huge plants and rock hard buds. Those companies want you to think that you can only get it from a bottle but don't believe the hype. Good genetics play a huge role as well. All these threads about what nutes work best just make me laugh. All the claims by these companies are ridiculous. If you want to know what the best fertilizer is read my sig. I have friends that grow indoors in soil and don't fertilize even once and they grow some of the best indoor I have ever seen so don't think they are needed there either. That is also on very large grows in case you were wondering.
A lot of love and dedication is what it really takes to get big bushy plants

I think that's a very wise approach--humans grow best with some exercise, healthy food, and love, not steroids and supplements. Marijuana in the same way has evolved for thousands of years to optimally use organic and naturally-occurring things in the ground, not bottled up, formulated chemicals. Nature will provide the needs for a plant better than any man-made product can. They just need some sun, quality food, and lovin' too!

We took the plastic off of some hoops yesterday. Most of the plants were outgrowing the hoops and it was getting way too hot during mid day. We will be uncovering all the rest of the hoops over the next week or so if the weather holds up.

Here is my Purple Star strain. It makes beautiful and fruity tasting/smelling purple buds. It also has the biggest fan leaves of any of my strains. This plant blows my mind. Very unique. I love it. It is a real winner and something I am really proud of. The original Purple Star was actually very sativa dominant when I got her 7-8 years ago. She was not a heavy yielder or a large growing plant but had an amazing smell and smoke. I crossed her with my well acclimated staple Purple Train Wreck that I have worked with for almost a decade. Now you can see the results. The fan leaves are ridiculously huge and she is a sturdy plant.

Plan for 8 oz a plant not 3-4lbs.. If you want a lb+ a plant in the rocky mountains then you better be putting out 3 footers in may.
