Turns out Seamaiden was Correct..!!
Even though there is is only 12 hours of light....
The Increase in light was enough to make the change back to veg.
I had to find out for myself...so no real regret.. .
..Now...I just hope they switch back quickly:blackeye:

its a mess on the outside...but its dark on the inside

I screwed together a bunch of those 1x2 fur strips to make a 24ft long runner to pull the doubled up black plastic back and forth.(kinda like the roll up side i have there^)
The gray tarps needed to be doubled so I covered that east side with siding I had laying around..lol
The west side is doubled and rolls up
I have to fine tune it a little tomorrow after a trip to home depot

Let's hope you've caught it early enough to stop the reveg from progressing. If nothing else, this is a FANTASTIC learning experience, right?

i think i projected april 16. watch the frost. the increase in day temp should help to finish line. sorry for your light dep pain. i think the hoops are great. i wonder if you could supplement till the end if you remained within the minimum dark requirement.

Man I hope your right..
Not really many, if any, single blades Cheese .
.The ones that look they will be singles.... end up being 3 blades...
I hope they are not reveging! that would be cool/..But I will keep covering them anyway..
I just got done ..Takes me about 20 min..to cover it and fix all the light leaks..
then another 10 min. to cover the other two hoop houses I have going ;)
Not too much work really.... I need to stay active anyway....this is my hobby
I just gotta keep an eye out for snakes...I got a Green led head lamp :)

Anyone else see reveg? o_O

Ken, sometimes there's a sequence to the revegging appearance and growth. It takes quite a bit of time once it's begun, IME, to get it worked out (to get the normal growth). First, you see new, but normal leaf growth. Then, within a couple of weeks the triple-lobed leaves start coming in between the more normal five-lobed, then, within 2-3 weeks after that, you will see the singles. As you can see, that means that this whole sequence can easily take a month at least to present, often more.

Keep an eye out for triple-lobed leaves to appear before singles, that's what I think will happen IF you have NOT caught things in time. If you have, they will hopefully remain at 5+ lobes and that should be a good indicator that you'll also be able to finish relatively normally, though I would expect it to take a bit longer since the plant has just spent some good energy not building buds, but pushing out leaves.

Make sense?

the other thing you can do is place moth balls here and there in your GH and snakes will stay away. My grandmother used to have little cups of MB's all over her garden area, never a snake......now 30 yrd away from the garden , golphersnakes, racers etc running amuck......Hope it helps :D
