Oh! I missed all the pix. Ken, they're really filling out nicely. Isn't it amazing what a little time under the Big Metal Halide in the Sky can do for some plants?

They Look better everyday :)
Raised beds and the Sun are pretty much a, "Fool Proof" Method...
and I can handle that ;)
Im down to one hour and 15min of sup. lighting...
with about 11 hours sunlight
I think about 15min a week decrease..will hopefully fool the plants;)
about March 18th we have 12hour days:D

green houses bring joy. spring in a frozen world for me. i think you may still need april faux dark for a couple weeks. blue skies my virtual friends blue skies

Hey Doc. I was hoping to be done in the 1st week of april...;)
I "flipped em" on Jan. 20th o_O..I hope they are done sooner..


I cant wait to get rid of the foggy 6mil Plastic that is blocking some of the sun..
But the Forecast says its gonna be 28 on saturday nite..so I cant take any of it down yet,,
Maybe in March I can give them full sun all day.

Nexxt year I will use hard CLEAR plastic on the walls;)

My GH is down a hill and a pain to get to while it's slippery and muddy. <hangs head and considers alternatives...>

you guys and gals brighten my day. i remember the flip.but with the later arrivals and the first signs date. i say slow reponse due to roots or low night temps. time will tell. the milky plastic in 4 mil is approx 85 % transparent the clear 90-92% . the milky has fewer shadows and i find less leaning to the light. translate that to more even growth east to west. in/out polycarbonate is bitchin if you have the dough. $1.66 a square foot. hope the mud passes. predictions are afoot and a half of snow for me.

yeah they are taking a while to show flowers...and You are correct about the late recruits...Those later plants will stay in pots..and May have to be moved to a small hoop house light dep. to finish
I just hope I dont have to litedep the whole GH :confused:.. We will see.

youll be just fine ken. if they are far enough along in flower the little bit of extended light period wont harm them over a few weeks time.

I hope you are right Big cheese. I have heard peeps say they will and some peoples say they wont...

Maybe some plants will and some wont...Im gonna find out..and I hope you are correct..
Gonna have to keep a close eye for little reveg leaves at the end..gonna be nerve racking..:confused:

Forecast says it could snow here tomorrow,,:confused:
Could get in the low 20's Sat. night:(
After that..maybe I could but stuff out there in some hoops:)

we had a little rain but it cleared up now, just some minor clouds. thinking of tossing a little plant outside just cuz i can haha
