Well 5x5 kit came yesterday. It didn't take long before I ran into first issue.

How to hang the light?
Carbon filter, in line fan and driver I want on outside of tent. So I can have maximum height for the light and it keeps most of the heat on outside.
The way they show it in book is the stainless steel wire and two rope hangers. This puts one of them in back of tent where it will difficult to get too.

Does it matter which direction the bars go. Front to back? Side to side?
And is there rubber pieces go roof support bars?

There's a guy on youtube doing videos on all kinds of grow tent construction. He does only hydro setups but goes into the hangers, fans, lights, etc. His name is Gary. Google PAHydroponics he has a whole set of step by step instructions. it was very helpful for me setting up my first tent earlier this year.

Do dirt cheap budget grow, works for me, you have the basics, I would buy some cheap compost and 4 cheap buckets from the local garden centre
buy some garden lime, fish blood and bone, cheap pack of 4 seeds, I could get the lot for less than 60
Its not the best setup but I could pull a good crop with this.

Well I manage to build the kit and have been playing with programming it.

What temps are consider to high?

I think I will be needing a AC unit to maintain just about any temp. I am barely able to maintain 79 with a light level at 1. And not if growing but then to maintain 60 degrees during drying. Cause with light off I have 74 degrees.

Finally got/had money saved for this adventure. Pulled the trigger on a ac infinity 5x5 advance grow kit.

Unfortunately it left too broke to buy the other stuff ph pen, soil, beans and list goes on and on. But the good part is it will be here this Saturday. Then I will have to stare at for a month to gather up more money for the rest of the stuff. Now we are committed to it no backing out now.
the money is worth it -- Best tents around --

Hey that's sick! You will be up and running next round of purchases.

I have the aci t3 humidifier in my 5x5. That actually does the entire lung room easily and it's a lot less than the t5.

Also your soil is very important. Make an informed choice on soil. Using soil means you probably won't need a pH pen. That sort of balances itself out depending on your planting medium. If you get coco to grow in you do/should get a pH meter. Also the proper soils will greatly reduce the need for lots of fertilizers. Some will get you into flower before you would want to feed anything. I'm just really pleased with having used some highly amended mediums that have helped me have a few easy successful grows going so I can't strongly suggest this enough.

That set up is serious boss level!
forget PH - have never used it (except when I first started) since then have seen no reason to use in soil --FYI

I'm in a desert and won't cool my house lower than 78 for cost of electricity. I ran a grow over the summer that constantly hit 84 max 85. I didn't have a removable driver like I do now. My plants made it with minimal heat stress. I think you will be alright.

Since we’re talkin temps. What’s an acceptable range between daytime and night time for different stages? Right now I’m in early veg with daytime temps between 78-82 rh is pretty low around 45-50 goes up to around 67 after watering. Night time it has gotten as low as 64 degrees. Thinking about just trying to close the bottom flap a little more at night but I would like to avoid constantly messing with it and probably forgetting to do it some nights or open it back up all the way in the morning

That's a big swing. If you can stabilize that a bit more your plants would benefit.

Thank you. That’s what I was thinking too. Try to keep it between a 10 degree swing if possible. I think it will be easier to lower daytime temps. Do you think 65 is too cold for nighttime? I know I’ll wanna be close to 65 in the daytime for flower tho correct?

I got 2 bags of ocean and promix hp with micro, 2 bags worm casting and a heap of down to earth addmendments on my list to buy. Is the good
When you say 2 bags of ocean are you talking about Ocean Forest?
If you're using Pro-Mix, I wouldn't personally mix it with Ocean Forest.
You absolutely can but Fox Farm was all I use to use, I recently switched to Pro-Mix and I don't see the need to mix it with another soil/medium.

As far as nutrients and ammendments, I can't comment since I use synthetics.

Yes I meant ocean forest. Thanks nice to know that I don't need both that shaves off some money.

I don't mind spending money on this adventure if it produces quality.
