Well 5x5 kit came yesterday. It didn't take long before I ran into first issue.
How to hang the light?
Carbon filter, in line fan and driver I want on outside of tent. So I can have maximum height for the light and it keeps most of the heat on outside.
The way they show it in book is the stainless steel wire and two rope hangers. This puts one of them in back of tent where it will difficult to get too.
Does it matter which direction the bars go. Front to back? Side to side?
And is there rubber pieces go roof support bars?
the money is worth it -- Best tents around --Finally got/had money saved for this adventure. Pulled the trigger on a ac infinity 5x5 advance grow kit.
Unfortunately it left too broke to buy the other stuff ph pen, soil, beans and list goes on and on. But the good part is it will be here this Saturday. Then I will have to stare at for a month to gather up more money for the rest of the stuff. Now we are committed to it no backing out now.
forget PH - have never used it (except when I first started) since then have seen no reason to use in soil --FYIHey that's sick! You will be up and running next round of purchases.
I have the aci t3 humidifier in my 5x5. That actually does the entire lung room easily and it's a lot less than the t5.
Also your soil is very important. Make an informed choice on soil. Using soil means you probably won't need a pH pen. That sort of balances itself out depending on your planting medium. If you get coco to grow in you do/should get a pH meter. Also the proper soils will greatly reduce the need for lots of fertilizers. Some will get you into flower before you would want to feed anything. I'm just really pleased with having used some highly amended mediums that have helped me have a few easy successful grows going so I can't strongly suggest this enough.
That set up is serious boss level!
I'm in a desert and won't cool my house lower than 78 for cost of electricity. I ran a grow over the summer that constantly hit 84 max 85. I didn't have a removable driver like I do now. My plants made it with minimal heat stress. I think you will be alright.Well I manage to build the kit and have been playing with programming it.
What temps are consider to high?
I think I will be needing a AC unit to maintain just about any temp. I am barely able to maintain 79 with a light level at 1. And not if growing but then to maintain 60 degrees during drying. Cause with light off I have 74 degrees.
Thank you. That’s what I was thinking too. Try to keep it between a 10 degree swing if possible. I think it will be easier to lower daytime temps. Do you think 65 is too cold for nighttime? I know I’ll wanna be close to 65 in the daytime for flower tho correct? That's a big swing. If you can stabilize that a bit more your plants would benefit.
When you say 2 bags of ocean are you talking about Ocean Forest?I got 2 bags of ocean and promix hp with micro, 2 bags worm casting and a heap of down to earth addmendments on my list to buy. Is the good
My tent was 92degrees yesterday. You will be ok. My out door made it threw a week of 115degrees.I'm in a desert and won't cool my house lower than 78 for cost of electricity.
