Hello Growmies. I’ve been lurking these forums for a while and never really have participated. Figured I would start by logging a grow.

I’m a few weeks into a grab bag of Ice Cream Kush, GG4, and Monster Cookies or Blue Monster(Dude I got the cuts from did not send all Ice Creams like I ordered). I have 11 girls 4 days into flower now. 5-Ice Creams, 2-GG4, and 4 of the mystery strain.

Setup:
5’ x 5’ Tent
3’ x 3’ Table
Drain to Waste(Drip system with Floracaps)
Can Fan 6” Filter
AC Infinity Cloudline T6
1-315w CMH
Adding Co2

Nutes:
-Base: I was running the Advanced 3 part but had super high PPMs trying to fit everything in. Plus, I didn’t want to have to add Calmag when there was a base that included it. Switched to the Sensi Coco A&B PH Perfect.
Additives:
-Great White
-Trantula
-Bud Candy
-Big Bud
-B-52
-Rhino Skin
-Bud Blood
I ran into some deficiencies by cutting the base down try and keep my PPMs manageable. After talking with AN I learned that the line is safe to run at high number due to chelates and surfactants. After a fully mixed res I’m sitting at 2090 PPM! No signs of burn or lockout yet. I’ll tell you what, they were stunted and had purple stems and all before I increased the mix and ran it as recommended. If you are running the PH Perfect line and are weary of the high PPMs..don’t be. You will notice a huge difference running it as designed. Here are some photos from the last week.

On to day 6. Discovered Russet Mites! Treated them and within 30 mins saw no more live bugs. Will follow up with two more treatments before I have a flower set showing hopefully. The girls are recovering nicely. I’ve included a pic with both lights hanging now.

Day 9 of flower now. Ran into some Russet issues. Sprayed 2 treatments so far and the girls are recovering nicely. It’s amazing how much the Russets hinder growth. These girls are exploding now they aren’t being chewed on.

Looks amazing especially considering you're dealing with mites can I ask what you are using to treat them?

Day 19 of flower and the girls have for sure taken on their flower structure. I don’t normally like to mess with them during bed time but was headed out and needed to water. They do look pretty cool wearing green light.

Day 22 and the mystery strain is starting to frost up already! With the looks of that flower right now, I can’t wait to see what she does in a few more weeks.

Day 26. Vertical growth has slowed substantially. The girls have only grown a couple inches over the last 4-5 days as opposed to the 1+/- inches they were growing per day. Thank goodness as I was running out of headroom.

Also, according to the guy I purchased the cuts from, all of the plants(besides the GG4) are Ice Cream. Apparently they are different phenos. I’m not seeing it, but, I could be wrong.

Use pvc instead of wood. But it looks nice. You have alot of empty space that needs plants.
Thanks man. I realize that there is more canopy that could have been filled out. The next run I will be switching things up a bit. I really wanted to be able to get into the tent if needed. I will be switching to a 4x4 with a top feed recirculating system. For lighting I will be using the Luxx 645 Pro LED.

Day 30 and I have learned a lesson(for the second time in life)...Don’t listen to nute companies! I did have the russets early on in this grow and it threw me for a loop thinking I had deficient plants in the beginning. After talking with Advanced they recommended running at full strength on their line. I’m seeing some signs of potassium deficiency right now as a result of high phos as well as some burn to the hairs and leaves. I have cut back to 1/2 strength and have been flushing for the last two days until my runoff get to where I would like it. They did get another spray just to be cautious for the mites. The girls are looking good, just a little stunted. Definitely not happening at a time that I would like to see it. Obviously, we don’t ever want to see that but I would rather have been earlier in the game. Oh well...Got things back on track and am already starting to see them bounce back. Until the next update, be safe!
