I was back then I was gone. I hurt myself raking fucking leaves. Yeah that is when you know you are old. When you injure yourself so bad raking leaves that you can't walk without a walker or cane for 4 months. Plus there was 2 weeks I couldn't even get out of bed. Yes urinals and bedpans were involved. My friend hurt himself too around the same time. Except he was rock climbing. He is my age. And Harrison Ford who is 13 years older than me hurt himself getting out of the Millennium Falcon filming the new Star Wars film. They were cool badges of courage injuries for old guys like me. However, I hurt myself raking leaves. The badge of old fart pussiness.

I am temporarily back. I couldn't even lay in bed and hold a laptop. It could come back again until I get my SI joint fused which will be soon. It is an experimental surgery and it was a battle getting insurance to pay for it. Plus they didn't think I would pay for it myself. I just got done prepaying them $18,000 dollars so I am on the list now. If they would have just taken 5 lbs of weed I could have had it done sooner. They wanted cash so I had to sell my headstash one ounce at a time. LOL!

I get operated on next month. Then no walking for 1-2 months depending on how the bone graft heals. They were shocked when they found out how much I weighed. I am fat but not looking 319 pounds fat. Hey... I am big boned! I am down to 270 now. It is easy when you can't walk to the refrigerator. I hope to be 240 come surgery and then they said I would be walking sooner as just a heavyweight instead of a super heavy weight.

I would have had to loose 54 pounds just to fight at the UFC heavyweight limit of 265. LOL! Now just 5 more to go before I can get my ass kicked.

Everything is looking up. Don't need anything. Just an update in case anyone was wondering.

Your spirit is great and that's a good thing. I wish you a speedy recovery. When you get to 240 you'll be 10 pounds lighter than me. :) I'm an arm chair heavy weight contender btw...I watch every UFC including tonight's and every time I watch I think to myself..."I could whoop his ass" lmao...but then reality sets in when I start my daily push-ups ;) Keep your head up and hire a gardener :D

Thanks Danimal. I do the same. I actually have learned a lot just watching it. I just wouldn't have any speed or endurance. That said I am pretty sure I could have finish Rhonda or Cyborg in less than a round. Unless they ran around a lot. Well at least before I found out I can't even rake leaves.
I love mma but Dana saying Rousey could beat Mayweather in a fight is crazy. If she is so tough match her against Mighty Mouse. She would have 10 pounds on him.

I do like watching her fight though. The girl fights are very good fights. Just like little league world series is very good baseball. The girls do put on good fights against their own competition. But they can't go around kicking guys asses. Any HS wrestler that made states would maul them. They would just be too strong. Just like any boys HS state champion basketball team would beat the WNBA champion. They would be too fast and most of them could dunk. It would be PHI SLAMMA JAMMA.

I am not against girls in sports. They can't match up with guys in some sports though. I am rooting for that girl in the Little League World Series. I have always said the right girl could become a MLB player. She just needs to be a good fielding contact hitter or a crafty pitcher. It hasn't happened yet but it could.

I did lose everything mack. But slowly but surely I got stuff back plus other things. I had a bunch of cuts of different things rooted up ready for a big outdoor run. I got some outside and then couldn't do anything. Last I checked was early July. I actually had to lie on my side in the cornfield to relax the pain in my leg on the way out. It was kinda cool seeing a cornfield from the bottom. There were a crazy amount of squirrels and chipmunks working the corn and running on the ground. No wonder I often see coyotes in the corn. At the same time it was surreal. I was thinking "I am lying on the ground in a cornfield. I should have never come out here. What if coyotes come?" LOL! I got home and then was subjected to a humiliating tick check. When you are young a tick check by your wife can turn out fun. When you are older not so much. Lots of grumbling.
My wife cares for the moms and I will get back at it when I am better. I will crawl out if necessary in October. Things were doing good when I checked and we have had a perfect amount of rain around here this season. We will see.

Thanks for all the positive vibes. Sorry to hear about your back EOS. It helps knowing you made it out alive. LOL!

Waayne first they do the bad side and then they do the other. Supposedly if all heals up it can never happen again. So I can rake leaves again. Woohoo!

Tobor, my good man! I'm stoked to see you have your sense of humor hard at work, keeping you in good spirits. Congrats on the weight loss! You've lost over the equivalent of a 5 gal bucket of water, that's a lot of weight to ditch! I lost 70 lbs after I quit drinking and I was a new man. Well, 2/3 the man I was, lol.

Best of luck on your surgery and best wishes and vibes for your outdoor treats...
