I'm in the clear as far as statutes. Anything more than a plant, or 2 since I've been here has passed the statute of limitations.Interesting thread. Feel for those that need to worry about legality in their areas. My advise is always keep it legal, and keep it quiet. Always boggles my mind how individual states/provinces can seem like independent countries with various laws and governing. In Canada, at least we legalized across the country, albeit different restrictions for the provinces.
do what you can to get necessary licences, and enjoy the freedom that comes with it.
Michigan here ... legal state ... each household is allowed up to 12 plants for personal use. I never grow all 12, usually between 4 and 6 plants per cycle, and that's still way more weed than I can consume before I begin my next grow .... I'm glad I live where I do. Otherwise I probably wouldn't be growing at my age.Interesting thread. Feel for those that need to worry about legality in their areas. My advise is always keep it legal, and keep it quiet. I can relate to your situation. However, from the way it sounds, you're dealing with it pretty well so far. Just don't let them get under your skin. Once everything has gone legal for you, there's nothing they can do about it legally. Although, I doubt they stop being a pain in your ass about it.I'm in the clear as far as statutes. They see me as a threat for whatever reason. We're on the verge of being legal. They've already passsed "Microgrowers license " $250 for 150 plants. I'm not about to screw things up. After dwelling on it over, and over (I can't help to), the ONLY way a judge would grant a warrent for weed would be through trash, or electric. My neighbor works for them. As far as I'm concerned, he was the mouth piece, although they were all in on it.
I was outside shooting hoops for the entire event. When the cops went to the neighbors house, it took a good 10 min for them to answer.
It was completely botched. The BS that came out of their mouths to explain why all the cops, and K9 were there was humorous.
Well, I play drums. I've been playing in my basement, and it can't be heard by the neighbors. I moved a kit up to the main floor, and I'll be playing the live version on Moby Dick..A LOT
I’m not sure I’m following the entire story, but if the cops and k9 were there for you, you would have known it.I'm in the clear as far as statutes. Anything more than a plant, or 2 since I've been here has passed the statute of limitations.

Thanks man!Michigan here ... legal state ... each household is allowed up to 12 plants for personal use. Best of luck to you with the micro-grow license.
I knew it. The judge either signed the warrent to the weong addy on accident, or on purpose. Either way, i knew!I’m not sure I’m following the entire story, but if the cops and k9 were there for you, you would have known it.
Be a good neighbor! But, If your good on the drums let er rip
I grew up in the church. It's how my parents raised me. I can sum it up pretty quickly here ... there are 2 types. 1) The genuine and sincere who really go out of their way to help their neighbor. and 2) The hypocritical fool who attends so they can "look good." It's easy to tell them a part and unfortunately your neighbors don't sound like the one's in the first category. Thanks man!
I don't know how well I'm dealing, but you're right. Once things are legal, I'll feel a lot better.
I do feel for my daughter, as she doesn't understand why her friends don't come by anymore (that stopped about a week before all this)
I knew something was up, I just didn't think they'd try and rat on an innocent guy.
What happened to "love your neighbor "?
Hypocritical scum!
Bikers are alright.Alaska is pretty much the same and you can assume that most people are armed here. And not with a wimpy 9 mm. Here it’s best to just MYODB and leave everyone alone and out of your conversations. However gays and lesbians have no problem being accepted by the community as a whole and again it’s MYODB.
About 4 years ago someone in Anchorage vandalized a car belonging to two Somalian guys. Seedy part of town. Good place to get rolled. Basically destroyed the car. The local Hell’s Angels got them another beater with a heater and announced to the newspaper that these guys were good neighbors and worked hard and didn’t hurt anyone and they were to be left alone.
truth. wasted brain cycles man. could be thinking about other things, like figuring out how to knock out Joey Jordison's drum solo from back in the Subliminal Verses days.I know one thing for sure, if you start banging out Moby Dick and disturbing the peace they won’t need a warrant and you will be talking to them face-to-face. Cops don’t like being dragged into these petty disputes, and they will probably take it out on you, fair or unfair. Try and de-escalate and quit letting them rent space in your head. I know it’s a bitch! My junkie brother, when he was alive, one of his favorite tunes to go around mouthing, was paranoia will destroy ya!Good luck!
You are right. God does not need your money. He does watch what you do with it. And He asks for 10% to be given to the church to help those who can not helps themselves. I find that very reasonable, especially since the Gub-mint takes 35%. Think of it as a heart check, if it bugs you to give then maybe you put too much emphasis on the money and not what it's for. That was Jesus' lesson on money.I'm 100% for MYOFB!
Growing is completely legal now in Alaska, no?
I said it before. I believe the church does a lot of good, however it is a cash business, lots of con artists, $$$$, and power.
While my neighbor was lying her ass off to me, every other sentence was "Jesus is great, blah blah blah"
In Texas the church wants 10% of your $....Idk if I believe in god. I guess I do. I'm pretty sure he had no use for $
No, stay away from Hawaii. We want out of here. for some things, It would be easier to live in Cuba. The Gubmint here is not sane.If I didn't have a family, and if my wife wasn't close with her's, id be in Alaska, Canada, or maybe Hawaii?
The electric rates in Hawaii are rediculous though. I think twice what they are in NY, so id imagine wholesale would be profitable.
Everyone I met from Canada have been real cool people.
I had no clue Alaska was hard core like that. I guess where there's supply (for anything) there's gonna be a demand
Actually, my Pastors car doesn't run. He does not take a regular pay. The occasional offering came to about $60 last year. I know, I did his taxes. If your pastor has a new 7 series. He doesn't need 10% of your money. Give him a bag of weed he can smoke with the lord.
