In Tincture Form, I am seeking HIGH CBD and Zero THC - I CAN'T FIND IT

Both work as solvents. This is because of the compounds we're discussing being soluble only in something like alcohol (or butane, hexane, naptha) or fats/oils/lipids and not water. I can't say much beyond that, it's above my pay grade.

You should write to Rick Simpson. It's not just a suggestion for them, they insist it's the best solvent. And that you must use the best buds. I disagree, I think trim can be used and other, safer solvents may still gain a good result, but then I'm not trying to cure cancer.

Thought about it but i figure i can do more good on a forum then trying to beat a dead horse.. So instead of sending people to shit like rick simpsons page i'll link them to skunkpharm or a thread here where more useful posts are.

Dont get me wrong rick simpson has done alot of good for people but naptha is not one of them and the guy should know better..

Im sure hes had 1000 people tell him to stick naptha where it don't shine and he just goes on making his money regardless.. Naptha is a more selective solvent so it dont pick up as much plant bullshit but that can also be done with ice cold washes with acetone or iso.

Also for anyone interested in using NAPTHA.. Look into what alls in that shit.. Including but not limited to rust inhibitors.. Now im not really for my body rusting and all but i don;t think i need rust inhibitors just yet ;)

You're probably right, as I am fairly late to this particular party. :)

I do hate doing bubble hash, it's *really* hard on my back. Cooking in the rice cooker is SO much easier!

Hemp is also not THC free it's just that concentration is so low that it's neglectable. Although it's CBD rich. There are plenty CBD rich cannabis strains ot there just need to search for them. I know Dinafem has some high CBD strains available and also here are some high CBD strains that came of top of my head:

Charlotte's Web
Sour Tsunami
Harlequin
Cannatonic
Critical Mass
Shark Shock
CBD Haze

Also check cbdcrew.org

Isn't Charlotte's Web a pheno of AC/DC? Or did I get that bit wrong? I think I mentioned that I'm growing out Sweet & Sour Widow from CBDCrew this year, too.

LOL Well id say Negligible would be Free...Considering non alcohol beer is actually not alcohol free ;) Nit picking ;)

@katieCBD, what is it you're wanting to treat with CBD?

hello,

welcome to the farm

thats really not going to happen mam,

even "pure CBD" products to my knowledge, like DIXIE even have SOME THC in them

just little enough to be able to be sold openly in the US

heres a link to dixie.. but depending on the quality of oil and price you have available there locally at dispensaries i would probably just buy some local..

25 to 1 is a great ratio

Shamus, I'm not sure if I asked this, but why is pure CBD not openly sold in the US? What are your thoughts on this: CBD OIL:

PRWeb is a public relations website, so I can't really say much about the company based on their press release. The picture of the doctor guy looks very convincing, but it means nothing in the general context of how these products are regulated, or not. Unfortunately, I can't really say much beyond that as far as veracity of claims (is it really a CBD tincture? Is it really hemp-based, does it really have 500mg of CBD or whatever? I'm sure the flavor is as delicious as it can be).

They have some that aren't terribly expensive, so I say try one of the less expensive options out with an open mind, but being very careful as I do read of people getting headaches from the high CBD stuff.

I wanted to read that release to see the criterion used to determine the value of dispensary. What concerned me was that they didn't specifically say they test the products. It seems geared more towards customer experience. Over the weekend, I did speak with them at length regarding CBD/THC. Apparently, their products have high CBD with trace THC. You also don't need a card to buy from them.

Do you think it's really good stuff or do you think it could be bad?

Check this out: synergycbd.com They have tincture in 25:1 ratio. Is it better? If so, why might it be better?

Thanks,
Katie

Sorry - I'm trying to figure out something I can try for 90-days to see if it makes a difference. As much as I would love to make my own, I'm not there yet. This is my first "go at this." I have confidence in research on CBD. I don't know.

Thanks for everything

That's a link to an email addy, katie.

I get where you're coming from, really I do. I just don't have much in the way of outside experience unless you count the decades I spent buying weed on the black market, never really understanding fully what it was and could do, why it had such different effects, etc.

Maybe... you know, I wonder if inthegorge could help you here. Washington state is requiring quite a bit of lab testing. Look up her thread, see if you can contact her here. In the meantime, I'll tap into some other resources, see if we can figure out a solution for you.

Seamaiden, You are awesome. Thank you! I will look her up. I appreciate your continued kindness and assistance. I want to get to where you are, growing and cooking and all of that. I need to see what it even feels like to try, you know? If I see some benefit with my conditions, I'm definitely going your route. To begin with, if I can find something that's solid, that you believe in (yes, it makes me feel better), that's a good thing.

Thank you!

Well, unfortunately what I got were people offering more lists of strains to try, not actual finished products. At this point I think you'd be ok trying one of the less expensive tinctures, just to see how it feels and works, or doesn't work, for you.

Hi Seamaiden, Thanks for trying. I also reached out to InTheGorge. I think you're right. At this point, let me give something a try and see where it takes me. Right? Right.

Thank you for everything.

How is your husband doing, if I may ask? If not, I understand.

My husband is hearty and hale, but he also tends to have insomnia. That's why I make the oil for him. :)

We'll keep trying to find information for you, and if/when you do try the tinctures, would you mind following up?

I'm glad your husband is doing well, but I am so sorry about the insomnia. I know that struggle and it's really irksome. He's lucky to have you!

Thanks - I will absolutely keep you posted. Thank you so much for the opportunity to do so!

Katie

Hey everyone, so almost 2 years later, have yall had any luck finding a CBD product you love? I know of some products at a 40:1 ratio and also with zero THC. Studies are showing that there is an 'entourage effect' when there is a variety of cannabinoids together in a product. So, unless you have to take drug tests, it's recommended to find a ratio of both that work best for you. Get in touch with me if you're still on the hunt! [email protected] Make it a hempy day!
