Question for you @justiceman and anyone else that wants to chime in. I'm having trouble getting my new girls happy that i have in the new coco. I started with lower (250) ppm and have walked it up every week since I up potted them. I just fed them at 750 yesterday and 850 today. I don't plan in going any higher as it looked like they responded to the heavier feed yesterday. I guess the question is do they normally need higher ppm in straight coco? You can see the difference between the soil and the coco girls in the pic

The soil girls are the darker ones on the left
what are you feeding them?

i would ask,, are you feeding daily to 15% runoff? Are the pots, light by the time the next feeding is? One thing i will do if i ever get in coco, is pull the plants out the containers, once every couple weeks, so i can see the roots... make sure im not getting salt buildup in the bottom, which will shock the roots, and cause that N dif, as all green, from top to bottom.... When its the whole plant, i always look to the roots. Are they healthy looking? if yes, then change your feed, ph to 6.0

I'm thinking there is an uptake issue going on. Either the coco is not in a good pH range, or the nutrients being used are not available fast enough as they need time to break down(organic based). I've seen some hybrid approaches work well, but generally coco does best with straight up hydroponic nutrients since they are immediately available.

good response but what ever it is, is all of them in coco, which makes me think, either it is not ph, OR his meter is out of calibration.. He should calibrate meter immediately to erase this from the equation. So next is roots and feed. I say, pull one or 2 of the plants, (worst ones), and take a pic of roots, and we can start to narrow down the cause..
If roots are good, then switch feed, to something simple for a week, and see if improvements in color happen.....
But all this, is for nothing if you are being lazy and going more than 24 hrs without feeding... Ive seen this before! Its usually from a lack of watering on a timely manner, and to 15% runoff, with a 1.0 ec...

Anyway, i would run 3x the pot size of 1ec nutrient solution thru them, let them dry 36 hrs, and start normal feeding at 1. ec to 15% runoff... I would also pull 1 plant a week from the pot and look at the coco, and roots to see how they look... I would also use 5ml per gal hydrogaurd once a week in your feed. I would also give light feeding of some kind of sweetener, to feed the hydrogaurd bacillus bacteria... And a root+foliar pack would be a definite plus!

Hope all is having a good day!

They are organic but its all chelated so it should be readily available to the plants.

Ph pen is brand new and calibrated. I water the coco plants every day, I use molasses and hydroguard. Runoff is in check as well. PH is usually 5.9-6.2 I've started add in a little guano tonhelpngreen em up. I will say this, they are growing decent, just not greening up. Happy Easter fellas

I got my chopsticks ready for some RAMEN! Those look excellent.
Haha, I don't think I ended up in straight coco by accident. @justiceman style coco, justiceman roots! That being said I'm being wooed by the simplicity of these soil clones. Seriously considering giving organic soil a full run to see what it can do. Too many choices.
