I use both lalstops,46 and 61, mostly as a soil drench as a preventative. I couldn't tell you which one is better, I've always used them together. We've also used it to hold back a fusarium outbreak from occuring long enough to get a decent yield. It doesn't kill it outright, but does suppress it. Fusarium is almost impossible to eradicate. Not saying you have fusarium, just an example of it's effectiveness.Ok, good morning, here is the update to what was done and the way forward.
- fungus nats: when the feed reproduce etc they do bring a fungus but not the fungus I was talking about.
- Black spots: is a fungus, it is more noticeable on tomatoes when the fruits turn with black spots
- @Gmix had mentioned there was no issue, I had to believe him and research further. (By research i mean stare at them) and figgure out what i saw and how it got there.
- first, took the neem cake in powder form and scratched in 3 tablespoons spoons per 3gal cloth pot into the soil. It was still kind of moist from the weekly watering so just left it alone , didn’t water it in since soil was a still moist. Replaced sticky traps. The neem oil spray is a 3-1 for insects fungus and miticide so i gave the foliage on both plants a trial misting to set up the spray. Don’t want to use the stream option.
Results were excellent, still have one or two buzzing around but they will soon meet their demise.
Next , at the next watering they will get another scratch of cake each followed by the MOSQ BITS (might not need) the following week. That should do the trick, after that followed up with the LALstop K61, @cooperhead posted here the LALstop G46 i think both are good.
Since I don’t plan on smoking leaf not really worried about spraying foliage and will stop long before going into flower. By then the LALstop K61 will be ready to use and will consider the flower flip.
Question here is has anyone ever used LALstop k61 and how where the results.
Black Spots: For the leafs, as they unwind and grow they grow clumped and cramped, I guess that will soon fade or not happen again. As other leaves grow and rest on others they create touching shadowing maybe create an environment for fungus when they touch like that.
What was done: remove the effective foliage and discard.
Monitor the issue, if it returns use the 3–1 CPT Jacks neem oil spray.
===========
Next issue:
A little tan-ish on the tips and and blistering “Baby Yoda”.. made the correction since it only happened when i added the extra hose for the heater over night, might have been pointed at the oscillating fan. Enclosed are some pics to illustrate how the plant might be doing. Might also be its chowing down a little faster than anticipated.
PAR roughly 600
Height roughly 12”
OG K: doing great, nice green leaf, needs another 2 sites per, no concerns at this time. (No pics)
Would like to start watering from the bottom with a tray or saucer, I’ve seen the auto pots with the wick and I’m not feeling the roots attaching to the wick its self. Then elevate as to get air underneath. Not sure what they are called otherwise I’m gonna have to home rig.
Thanks for all the input, thanks for reading
