Instructions for how to build a baffle box?

Hi everyone I was wondering if anyone knew where there are some instructions for how to build a box which would encase a inline fan, thus reducing its noise.

Most of your noise is created from the air turbulence created by the fan not the fan itself so most noise can be muffled by using insulated ducting Home depot has it on the shelves for maximum suppression go with the R8 its about 42$ for 25 ft vs the r6 which is about 28$ for 25 ft.

If you believe you need more suppression and want to build a box I suggest you contact the manufacture of said fan to ensure there will be no issues IE cooling ventilation. I doubt there will be but better safe then sorry .Then what I would do is grab some 1/2'' plywood and make a box line it with sound suppressing insulation.
