Introductory Post

Hey Y'all!

I'm a new small grower and newly licensed hemp farmer here in TN. Don't let the word hemp scare you, I am a believer that there is no difference, but I have to play by the rules. I have been working in the canna industry for over three years, but not in cultivation. I was a Project Manager for the construction side of big retail (don't recommend). As a former EMS provider, I've seen it all. I'll take my smoke over all things, it's never tried to kill me. My goal is to perfect a strain for myself. I am a newly diagnosed Parkinson's patient and I'm grateful that I seem to have some time before things get horrible. My mission is to heal myself with nourishing foods and cannabis. I'm currently trying to finish my medical herbalism classes and aim to make something of it.

Please find my pictures attached. I started from seed, then planted 12/30/19. I'm using coco and flying by the seat of my pants. I'm open to constructive criticism and learning from y'all. There are a couple of spots on two plants I'm concerned about. Looks like burn marks, so I think what happened was I got some fertilizer solution (bad cognitive day, so I can't promise proper terminology) on the leaves. I won't make that mistake again. I haven't found any source of contamination as far as mites, etc. go as I'm very careful to make sure I have clean hands, feet, clothes going into my tent. Do y'all think they will be okay? I'm using MARS Hydro full spectrum LEDs. I'd appreciate any tips, if anyone thinks it's warranted. Hopefully, tomorrow will be a better day and I can give my whole setup, if needed.

4 x Super Silver Sour Diesel reg (on purpose)
1 x Blue Gelato fem
3 x Peyote Critical fem

you didnt mention what medium your using,with babies like this your shooting for about 150 ppm right now,in coco,in soil water only with the same ppm and ph at 6.5,the little brown dots are showing sign of try to lock up on you probally from ph issue,give a bit more info on your grow,and we can probally get you off to a better start,welcome to the farm feind

I appreciate you. For a couple of days, I knew something wasn't right, it's why I found this. A friend of mine was trying to help me from afar, but he's been out of practice a while and is trying to re-educate himself. Trying to get a migraine to go away, so please talk to me like a child. I'll be honest, I was trying to go with the distilled water method (boiled from faucet; cooled obviously). Soil pH is sitting at 7 right now. I would be so grateful if you could point me in the right direction. I love them already and I'd hate to lose even one, though I know it's going to happen. Set up is as follows:

Yes, normally, I'm on top of that, but this week has been a rough ride. This is why I come to the pros like y'all. Haha! :) I got the SSSD seeds from The Vault. Thank you for the welcome!

when is the next time you feed?
coco has to be feed every day for exchange of air and nutes,still yet these babies should be running around these numbers

Welcome and as a fellow Parkinson's patient 10+yrs ...….you are headed in the right direction...…...Cannabis has not only stopped my progression but has reversed a lot of it, and given me my life back...…..if I can answer any questions.....please feel free to ask away.....good luck and God bless.

…………….your in good hands with oldskol4evr...……..Everyone grows different.....myself,...I water and feed my plants daily,.... I give my coco seedlings 150ppm to begin with and slowly increase the strength as they show growth......I give all my seedlings calmag till they get several weeks old also.... New coco, even sold and advertised as buffered,..... can still be calcium and magnesium deficient...……JMO....THC is what works on Parkinson's...….but you will need to find the strain that works for you...….

The Universe has lead me to the right place. Thank you for the warm welcome. While I like to think I'm a tough former EMS pro, the lack of control is troubling to an A-type. :) I know everyone is different, but what strains work best for your symptoms? That's been my thing lately. Unfortunately, I have to rely on whats available for purchase and I've not been happy with what I've been getting as of late. Or I'm just tired. Haha! I think the last strain I really liked for daytime was Hawaiian something (bad day today), of course, I didn't write it down. I really enjoyed Super Silver, but those seeds are hard to come by and customs took mine. :)

I must confess, I am ignorant regarding feedings. I'm also dyslexic with numbers (don't ask how I got through medic school, it just made sense to me). What is ppm? Parts per mL? When I say talk to me like a child, I mean it. I mixed it up, fed three days ago. I have just flushed them all out. Still sitting at 7 soil pH. Water is 7.17, to be exact. How to I figure ppm?

you will need a tds meter ,cheap one on amazon is 20 bucks for a ph pen and tds meter

hell that double what it should be,just give it water with a little cal mag ,feed around 150 to 250 ppm in coco,got to let the plant get bigger
