is there a certain window for fimming

i've read and watched videos enough to know how to fim (hopefully)
but the 1 thing missing is when to do it.
is there a certain time it needs to be done at?

I usually fim / top once I hit the 5th node of growth, after that I’ll top every 2-3 nodes depending on what I’m trying to do

i was following cannygrannys method but she's gone now.
i've topped at 5th and then at 2 more after the 5th.
i was wondering how big i need to let the new center growth get before i fim them?

no worries I’m just learning to scrog as well so I’m kinda learning as I go in my log lol, but I’m just flipping to flower now 3 days in, my other plants are in round 2 of topping and LST currently, my 2nd round with nets, tables but always more to learn for sure!

Yes before you ask that’s 12/2 Romex wire stripped I use it for LST it works awesome to flatten after the first topping for scrog setup similar to manifold

Pics of using wire to flatten 2 new tops from topping at the 5th node those 2 stems going side to side where the 2 new nodes off the main top that was topped

How long did it take you to veg out that 1 plant scrog in your picture? Beautiful work.

Mm you could check it out in my grow diary it’s pretty much step my step from seed for all of the plants

Sorry so many journals to keep up with I try to stay alert… 24/7 🤣

Probably around 35-40 days from first topping I’d assume lol

24/7 huh? What about sleep? You need to do that sometime ya know ...

I'll look later but if I were to place a guess, about 2 months, maybe 3 to fill the whole net. It take a while and some patience to get things spread out so evenly

I wish sleep was an option 😂 I get some… sometimes… 🤣
