Is this a Magnesium deficiency?

21 days old, C99, Coco/perlite, 55 RH, 75F, Canna AB, botanicare CalMg, ppm in 765, ppm out 850. 125w qb light now dimmed to 1/2 30” away.

Inside of leaf sections deficient in something and now Taco’ing.

Thanks.

If you're already giving it calmag. Then the answer is No. Most people use calmag when they dont actually need it. If they do need it, it's not very much and not very often.

What's your humidity at?

Definitely been struggling with humidity, it was close to 70 and more. But for the last 5 days i've had it 55-65RH

with the runoff 100 higher,i would just do a cal mag feed next myself, get that runoff a bit closer and gets some the salt buildup out, your not bad but your working on it,reason i mentioned this is when i ran coco,i would rather not put feed in and use the cal mag you already know it has to have that, reguardless of what media you have to have a saturation exchange of magnesium and calcium, for uptake of nutrients ,so that my 2cent worked for em,i dont like flushing unless it time for harvest,i think there are others ways and this is one, just my opionion

Add a bit more cal mag. If you are using filtered water a bit extra calcium is needed. If you are using filtered water add the CalMag before your A&B.
2 days ago I bumped it from 3ml/gal to 5ml/gal (since that was the advised range). How long does it take to notice if that is improving things?

Will do. Thanks!

Usually you will see the symptoms stop progression within a day or two. Keep your eyes on the new growth, make sure it is coming in with a rich green color. If your new growth is coming up fine you have fixed your issue. @oldskol4evr had the right idea, give his suggestion a shot.
it worked for me bro,i would rather do a light calmag and water feed ,than flush i have problems with the flush thing, mainly cause i dont try to force feed them ,just what they need to finish, all the boaster and stuff were problems come in for new growers and vets also,we all want them rails and say hell tya ,then the plants say fuck you most times ,and you know like me that if you have a issue then your dropping yields and over all health leading to stress and thats a set back,in soil no big deal ,3 days to figure it out by then your feeding again most times and you just use water to straightne it up,coco hydro is like som bitch that hurt hahahah so first thing i do with any feeds i use ,i put the lab coat on ,get ro water and sevral cups and check to see what each do ,if a plant showing N i give more N and drop the P and K feeds a tad to adjust ,if P or K same thing, set backs effect yield and the whole reason for using soiless and hydro is to get it done quick for next bunch to go in set back effect that

High humidity would account for all your symptoms. You could give it more calmag, but like I said. If you're already giving it any calmag, you're giving it enough and probably more than it needs.

A small dehumidifier would do you 1000 times better than more calmag.

I had the problem b/c without anything the humidity is like 45 RH and i was trying to increase it, but since i have such a small tent it's been tough for it not to shoot up past 70 even with humidity on low. I finally figured it out and now i'm btwn 55-65 on the regular. Hopefully the 55-65 sticks. Today it's at 62. : )

Awesome, if that was it that makes me happy, cuz hopefully this new RH will solve. I was using my CalMg at the low range and just put it up a little higher, i'll go for the middle range and see how that goes along with the better RH. Thanks. : )

I don't think humidity is your issue; I'm not familiar with your nutes but assuming they're balanced you might consider flushing out some salts and doing a Cal/Mag foliar spray two days in a row, should we stop the progression, good luck

Okay. Will do. I'll do a cal mg spray and either a total flush or 1/8-1/4 of what i usually use. Do you think there's any negative to a small dose vs. no dose, or vice versa?

It worked for me too. I just did a transplant two weeks ago and the plants immediately showed these signs, a quick watering with 5mL of calcium (not calmag) turned them around right away.

Now my leaf tips are turning dark.

I did do the flush only with calmg added. But even when I did a 500ppm feed the day after runoff was still over 800.

ph is good, rh 50-60. Ph still 5.8-6.2 in and out.

The fact that you have more PPM coming out of the overflow than is going in indicates that you have a surplus of nutrients, as OldSkl mentioined. I use very little nutrients compared to what some folks use and have great results. Plants aren't like people, where the more you are fed the bigger and fatter you get. Too much of a nutrient can cause other nutrients to not be used by the plant. I would recommend using a water only or a very light nutrient content until your outflow PPM drops somewhat. Once that is balanced out a little, you should see the plant recovering in the newer growth.
