Dang I got one in my back yardFor those who may not know Norway Maple, commonly planted as an ornamental yard tree in many parts of North America. has powdery mildew issues keep your plants away from these trees if you can. And yes that is PM, there are various products you can treat with, Including diy mix's using H2o2, If your plants are flowering be careful what you choose. And where you apply it, You may need to wash your plants after harvest.
no reason to dilute milk at all, maybe to make it easier for spraying through the bottle but i use homogenized 3%.. it also can be a month or more pass due date..You can treat powdery mildew with either a dilute skim milk solution or with a dilute baking soda solution - they both work as well as pretty much anything else.
I'll admit I was slacking with the defoliation. I work a lot. Most likely my fault lol. Gonna order more seeds and start my veg tent.Hate be the bearer of bad news but I’ve dealt with PM in previous years using at least 5 different sprays in different years all touting “will definitely work” and all failed. These include whole milk undiluted, 5:1 water to milk, 4% H2O2 diluted 4:1 water to H2O2, gerinol diluted 1 tablespoon to 1 gallon water, and some other store brand. My grows included 6-8 plants that were probably too close with not enough air flow. I harvested a few early but trashed the majority of them before they were ripe. This year I’m growing 4 plants spaced further apart and try to keep them thinned out inside. I’ll let you know how they do.
you got to clean every little thing in that area, a spore can live on a speck of dead plant material for over a year easily, i’ve dealt with this stuff a lot indoors and outdoors.I'll admit I was slacking with the defoliation. For pm or thrips? There is a very effective method using hydrogen peroxide and ozone gas. You just have to be really careful. It makes a fog that kills everything.
It's on my 2nd floor deck. Spray bleach? N steamer? I assume that'd work lol.you got to clean every little thing in that area, a spore can live on a speck of dead plant material for over a year easily, i’ve dealt with this stuff a lot indoors and outdoors.
use isopropyl for equipment and hydrogen peroxide 5-8% strength for everything else..
For fungus, thrips, spiders, termites, birds, dissidents. Will literally kill the Christmas spirit if you want it to.For pm or thrips?
I'm 5 weeks In flower in the tent though. That matter? For fungus, thrips, spiders, termites, birds, dissidents. Will literally kill the Christmas spirit if you want it to.
Apply 3% hydrogen peroxide to basically every surface with a spray bottle. Turn on fans. Seal area. Flood with ozone. Clear the air. Do not inhale the fog. No living things in the area. And you will sanitize that space. It's the nuclear option.
ya it should just try to take your time and do a good job, i had it for 3 grows in a row, it’s evil. It's on my 2nd floor deck. Spray bleach? N steamer? I assume that'd work lol.
You have to wait til the plants are finished. Do it for the reset.I'm 5 weeks In flower in the tent though. That matter?
Should It keep going in the tent for 5 more weeks? Will they live with the thrips Lol.You have to wait til the plants are finished. Do it for the reset.
Thrips are low tier. They're fine to treat with just DE or organic pesticide. They aren't a crop killer. Just treat them. And when you're done. Super clean. New air intake filters. Preventative treatment moving forward.Should It keep going in the tent for 5 more weeks? Will they live with the thrips Lol.
Got Cha. Thanks again dude. Keep ya posted lol.Thrips are low tier. They're fine to treat with just DE or organic pesticide. They aren't a crop killer. Just treat them. And when you're done. Super clean. New air intake filters. Preventative treatment moving forward.
that’s good, just learning more through success and failure! Thanks all for the tips. Will try out a few things before just tossing the outdoor ones. Maybe I get lucky lol.
