I saw this spider on my outdoor Durban Poison, wondering if it's a pest or beneficial predatory type?
It looks like a typical spider, not the mite type of body. It's larger than what I imagine a mite to be.Hard to say. The picture makes it look larger than most mites as spider mites are very tiny. Is it fast moving? If so, it's probably a predator. Regardless, I would spray with an OMRI rated biocide type of pesticide for preventative measures.
Exactly what I was thinking. It's a spider, but not sure if it's a spider mite due to its size and body structure. It looks like a typical spider, not the mite type of body. It's larger than what I imagine a mite to be.
