Is this the harmful Spider Mite???

I saw this spider on my outdoor Durban Poison, wondering if it's a pest or beneficial predatory type?

Hard to say. The picture makes it look larger than most mites as spider mites are very tiny. Is it fast moving? If so, it's probably a predator. Regardless, I would spray with an OMRI rated biocide type of pesticide for preventative measures.

It looks like a typical spider, not the mite type of body. It's larger than what I imagine a mite to be.

Exactly what I was thinking. It's a spider, but not sure if it's a spider mite due to its size and body structure.

Spider mite is probably about 100 times smaller, easy to see this is not spider mite.

Looks like either a garden ghost spider or yellow sac spider, the latter can give ya a nasty bite so take care, but both eat insects so are pretty beneficial in the garden.

If I was a spider mite Id take one look at that thing and say yeah...no. Lets book!
