Damn, i love me some fried chicken. I roast em more often, though. Just an easier and cleaner process..

This is my oven "BBQ" method:

Chicken wings spiced up with Chipotle pepper, crushed red pepper, crushed black pepper, and garlic. I add a little spoon of baking powder to made em brown up better.
Just dry the wings well coat in the spices and baking powder. Slap them in the oven at 425f. Flip them every 20 mins until they are crisped to your liking.
Then brush in your fav BBQ sauce and 5 mins under the broiler.
