Week 9 of flower, and its pretty much harvest time in the next few days for the chemblues. I where going to leave them for a few more weeks, but I noticed a little bud rot on 1 plant, a very little side bud. Though I'm not gonna risk it with the high heat and humidity here, the flowers are quite dense has is. I im pretty impressed with the flowers in terms of uniqueness, I would certainly grow them again. I'm Glad I have more seeds they smell quite unusual. Is a Rotten dank sherbet, fruityness, with the cheese/ skunk background pretty stinky.

Those buds look so tasty chem blue seems to be quite a popular one to grow. Could you stick a little dehumidifier in their to control the humidity and help prevent bud rot? I hear some growers like to reduce the temperature nearer the end to bring out the darker colours in the buds. Have you ever tried this?

Yes I was watching it! I was at the pub with some mates for this one. I wasn't as happy with our performance compared to against Mexico but we got the result which is what matters. I think this game showed just how important Declan Rice is to the structure of our team, we weren't the same when he came off and Bellingham came deeper. Rice had illness though he had been in bed for 3 days so he did well to play like that for the first half.
I do think the first Norway goal should have been disallowed as well, VAR didn't even review the foul on Kane at the opposite end leading up to the goal. Then again we did score from the goal kick that hit the camera wire so considering we won in the end I won't complain too much.
Argentina looked okay last night but they weren't able to hold a lead against 11 men so I have confidence, it could be anyone's game, hopefully our lads turn up. Bring on Argentina!

Nice one, Yeah I think they can do better next game, im hoping for another win. The first goal where pretty lucky, i think he went for the cross initially, and got it in the top corner. I seen that ball hit the camera wire and Norway where complaining

Those buds look so tasty chem blue seems to be quite a popular one to grow. Could you stick a little dehumidifier in their to control the humidity and help prevent bud rot? I hear some growers like to reduce the temperature nearer the end to bring out the darker colours in the buds. Have you ever tried this?

Thanks man, I could use a dehumidifier it would probably help a lot. I'm gonna after invest in one. with the humidity being high here pretty much all year. The flowers get to certain size and denseness and rot no matter how good the airflow and humidity is. Some strains being better then others, like mold resistant ones. it kinda happens the same outdoor too. Yeah i have tried that, is normally in winter though when it's cold. It brings out purple leafs and such but is basically stressing the plant. I have noticed slightly better resin production though from the cold stressed plants. I Had some in the snow and frost before they looked kinda sparkly

Wow! are you able to grow autos in all seasons where you live then? I almost started a second crop a few weeks after my current one but I decided to just focus on getting these to the finish line.
I would have thought growing in the snow and frost would cause all kinds of issues. Was it a successful harvest? I'd be interested to see the photos if you still have them.
I hope you manage to sort the bud rot problem. I don't know if it's something you can fight or whether you're best off harvesting early in this type of situation?
I'm hoping this weather continues to stay dry in the final stages. For my grow. The humidity will skyrocket as soon as we have some substantial rainfall.

Im devasted Tuchel thought the same tactic we tried against Mexico would work against Argentina but it doesn't. Not against that quality for 40 minutes. We should have just kept going for a second whilst we had some momentum. Taking 2 out of the 3 that led to the goal soon after was also a mistake in my opinion.
Oh well, Argentina played very well to get both those goals.

I'm up north bud so it gets pretty cold in winter, I reckon you could pull 2 auto grows off though. Start 1 set around may another a month or so later. Yeah the frosty grow where kinda successful I've had a few go way into November

I harvested the chem blues plants. When harvesting I found more rot in the odd bud, only tiny amounts, not enough to reck any flowers. Just over 9 week. I'm pretty impressed with the flowers the not big but they have some denseness. There smelling great, one is more cheese smelling on one plant that has a rotten fruit with a berry hash like smell. The others are more chemdog/ og kush smelling quite gassy fruit over all looks pretty decent the seeds in the side branches I pollinated, are looking good so im buzzing about that I got a few seeds back from the best looking plant.

Surely that's not an autoflower?! It's massive! I didn't realize plants could get that big in the UK especially up north. Do you remember if you did some stress training on it?

Yup tumbler, what's going on bro. yeah it where a tiny bit. I just cut it out normally where like 1 or 2 buds, yeah stinker strong smelling looks like it's gonna smoke good I got that old cheese stink when taking the fans off. frosty the snowman winter bud

Yeah they can get way bigger bro, it's a photoperiod plant, I think some of them xl autos should reach that size.no real training or stress training apart from the cold it just grown like like that from a cutting.
