My neighbor who spends $2000 + a month on House and Garden on his 20 lighter walked into my 24 light Jacks room and wanted to shoot himself when I told him I spent under $100 per round.

Needless to say, they are gettin on the train.

The most dialed in plants I have ever seen in hydro or cocco are with Jacks.

Once you get your head around basic canna nute ratios everything makes perfect sense and it is easy to mix the formula up as you need it for your plants. Like turbo14 said the cost is nothing compared to the return. It is insane in fact.

I still swear by the flavor of the finished product. Jacks burns clean as fuck because of the low nute profile, in particular the Phosphorus.

ive read this whole thread and im curious are you making a concentrate of jacks epsom most and a seperate contentrate for cal?
I just tried mixing calnit and cacl2 @ 70% into a 1gal jug for a 120 gal concentration and i had fall out.
so i obviously did something wrong.lol only about half of the cacl2 dissolved the rest was rolling around on the bottem. there website has two different answeres.for injector system it says you can mix 1:100
but on the hydro section it says 1/2 tsp per gallon so how on earth would i mix all this including hydro most epsom into 120gal res?do i mix each salt seperately into res?if so will this cause calcium to fall out?I understand calcium is mixed last but i was thinking concentrate.Its late or early depending on perspective and i need some sleep hopefully ill have a reply in the morning.

Count me on the Jacks train, paying passenger, for the whooooole ride. I do add some amendments; my system and situation does like a bit more cal-mag, so I add it. I add a lil mineral matrix, 1ml/gal. A bit of silica. Sometimes I toss in 250ml of cns-17 bloom, as needed to boost my ec for a few days before a nute changeout. This kind of quick boost right before a nute change definitely helps.

In veg I always have gotten good results with an ec of .8 or around 400 ppm at a .5 conversion. I like 420 ppm in veg at .5 conversion.

Ive never really gone over 1.6 - 1.7ish ec in flower or around 850-900ppm at .5 conversion.

1.1 ec is a lot higher in veg then im used to. Ill try it on a few plants to see how they do.

They'll like it just dandy if you make sure your RH is up near 65% @ 75 degrees- mine sure do!

Hey Cap... I am going to use this through veg and 2 weeks into flower.... however want to get somewhere in the range of 1-3-2.5 NPK from weeks 3-7 of flower, Not sure how to do the math to get it there... was wondering if you could point out the ratio of the hydro and Cal nitrate to get it close?

With jacks... how important is it it keep your rez at 65 deg. if you are running chow mix? Room will be 75 deg where the rez is kept.

I run mine lower than that and I consider it essential. To allow temps to rise is to invite anaerobic bacteria and the mayhem they bring. Conversely, starting with infested water and running it at the low temperature immediately rehabilitated it and in addition, my plants didn't suffer when I tried it.

You dont need a chiller with chow.

Just pulled right around 47 pounds of great quality nugs out of my 24k room. Rockwool 9-12 per light vegged 3 weeks.
Jacks 3-2-1 + booster + calcium chloride, and pro tekt. Great fucking thread Cap! Next round should be 2+ per table :)
